Nostalgia Steam Railway Station is a must-play landscape. It is not open every day. You can experience the unique style of the local rainforest on Wednesday. The train is not very fast. It's not bad.
North Borneo Steam Railway Station is the only steam train still burning firewood in the world. It's interesting to try it. There are not many passengers on the train. We have the privilege to witness how the local people can jump up and down on the train calmly.
On the third day of the trip, we enrolled in the steam train. The Magellan Hotel where we stayed can enroll. The hotel will arrange a special train to pick up and deliver the train station. The whole journey lasts nearly three hours. The service staff are all British colonial costumes. At noon, we will arrange a lunch and dessert and fruit.
location is great...
It is a very nice station and worth a visit
I really like the feeling that the old railway can vaguely see the shadow of Nanyang, bustling, early industrialization, and a considerable part of the historical miniature. Maybe it's the railway complex. When the Chinese helped build the railway, the locals were very grateful when they said that it was not very big. There were only three or five carriages. The interior of the carriage was arranged as a cafe. If I walked one day later, I would be able to meet a cruise, and there would be locomotives to pull out to see the scenery.
Actually, it's right next to the cheap airport, near the beach of Danyongya Road. Very old train, so the speed is very slow, but just can enjoy the scenery along the way. There are only three or five carriages. The interior of the carriage is arranged as a cafe.
