Tonggu Bridge

Tonggu Bridge is a scenic spot in Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, very close to Xiaoqikong Ancient Bridge, Tonggu Bridge is a broken suspension bridge, and two huge cement parts like copper drums can be fixed on the side of the suspension cable.

Tonggu Bridge is located at the junction of Daqikong Scenic Area and Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. The two water are connected. The color of the water is also very different. One side is green and the other is orange yellow. The scenery is very good. It feels gentle and majestic. The bridge is also very distinctive.

Sitting on the return scenic bus, there is a Tonggu Bridge in front of you, Tonggu Bridge is located at the east gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, across the Lijiang River, built in 1993, and rebuilt in 2001 (the original Tonggu Bridge was destroyed by the extraordinary flood in Libo in 2001). The Tonggu Bridge is 126 meters long, 60 meters wide, 25 meters high, and the two ends of the bridge are shaped by the Tonggu Mountain Tonggu Mountain. The Tonggu Mountain Yi people regard the Tonggu Mountain as a gift of God, and the treasure of Zhenzhai is a symbol of power. The totem pole established at the bridge symbolizes the dignity of the Yi people, the reverence of ancestors and gods, the confidence and strength of conquering nature, and the relief pattern on the pillar shows the traditional, unique and ancient national culture of the Yi people, with strong local national characteristics.
