Photos of Independence Seaport Museum

The Independence Seaport Museum emphasizes Philadelphia's role as an immigration center with interesting exhibits, and its shipyard closed in 1995 after 200 years of operation. The main exhibits are the USS Olympia, the flagship cruiser in the Spanish-American War, and the SS319 Barracuda, a World War II meritorious submarine. In addition, there is a sculpture park under construction in the museum.
