The total construction area of Hebei Museum is 53128 square meters, and the exhibition area is more than 22,000 square meters. It is divided into two districts: the North District was built in 1968, formerly the "Long Live the Victory of Mao Zedong Thought Exhibition Hall", and the exterior is imitated the pillar-style building of the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The total construction area is 20028 square meters. The southern district is a newly built area, with a total construction area of 33,100 square meters and a total investment of 6.28 billion yuan. The new building is surrounded by tall columns, which echoes the architectural shape and main color of the northern district.
