Because there are fewer roads and it is worth it. It is very different from some of Langkawi’s over-hot tourist attractions. It is an eco-tourist choice, quiet but worth visiting. One of the farmers saw me look around the herb garden and took me on a personal 90-minute tour showing me the rice harvesting process at each stage as well as dozens of herbs, flowers, birds and creatures. It taught me a lot about rice and Malay culture. Easy to learn about these by playing traditional marble games. As part of the island bus tour, today my partner and I visited this rice museum. The museum doesn’t have much signage to guide and we’re not quite sure where to go. And there was no one inside the museum, it felt like it was abandoned. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained, and there is a peaceful atmosphere here, but in short, it is not interesting here. We finished our visit in about 15 minutes.
