The town of Sergeyev is a holy place of Russian Orthodox Church, with a colorful complex of Trinity Monastery buildings, a golden dome, and beautiful murals inside the church, ornate decoration, and melodious chants. The piety of the Russian Orthodox is impressive. The churches dress up to draw the holy water and enter the temple to pray. They are very religious. The women also wear headscarves, especially the white lace headscarves.
