I live in the U.S., but I traveled to Prague nearly 30 times for a consulting engagement I had with a company based in Prague. This restaurant was walking distance from the office I worked out of and was also walking distance from the small hotel (Hotel Monica) where I stayed. I consider iL Giardino to be one of my finest eating-establishment discoveries in Prague. Awesome food, great service and CHEAP prices! (This restaurant is not in the "tourist" area of Prague, which is the main reason why its prices are so cheap.) I must have dined at this restaurant over 50 times! My favorite entree was the roasted bronzino (fish) with roasted veggies. Mouth watering!!! One of my industry friends who lives in Sweden would fly all the way from Stockholm to meet me for dinner at iL Giardino; that should give you a good idea of how awesome this little restaurant is. Over time, I think I ordered nearly everything on their menu. All excellent, never a disappointment. One night, I took 14 people from my client's office to dinner for a pre-holiday dinner party. Including drinks (and my Czech friends do drink!), the bill was less than $300 (USD). I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who plans on visiting Prague.
