This is not a touristy place and the better for it. We went for Sunday lunch with some German friends, who described the experience as 'Gutburgerlich', which in my language seems to mean good, modestly priced, tasty, homely food. If you want to feel you are really in Germany eat here. It feels like a cosy home. The Pils is excellent as are the local wines and the meals are delicious. We had braised steak and schnitzel, with noodles and sauted potatoes. It's the German version of the great British Sunday roast like your mum used to do. Marvellous stuff!!
