This group of buildings was built in the Song Dynasty, and the castle is divided into inner and outer cities. In the inner city, a three-story, four-in-one "Wanbi Building" is built, which means "complete jade returns to Zhao". The portraits of 18 emperors of the Song Dynasty are hung in the building. There is a Wengcheng at the north gate, and the Wu Temple and the Father and Son Doctor's Square are built in the Wengcheng, which are the main entrance. Zhaojiabao is adjacent to Danzao Mountain in the south and facing Tianma Mountain in the north. The Wanbi Building is a three- or four-way square building with a height of 20 meters and 16 rooms on each floor. The outer ring of the building is built with a stone-based earthen fort. The three-height earthen fort is 6 meters high and 2 meters wide, with a crenel on it. There are four city gates in the east, west, north and south. The east gate is inscribed with "Oriental Great Barrier", the west gate is inscribed with "Shuo Gao Jusheng", and the south gate is inscribed with "Danding Zhongxiang", but the north gate has no inscription. A tunnel is built in the patio to lead to the east gate. The Wanbi Building and its sanitation earthen fort are commonly known as the "Inner City". The other part is Zhao Yijian's five entrance houses, each with 30 rooms, a total of 150 rooms. It is still well preserved. The outer city wall is a three-layered clay wall, 6 meters high, 2 meters thick, and 1200 meters in circumference. The main buildings in the outer city are five mansions that are juxtaposed with five entrances. There are also precious cultural relics such as the Bianpai Bridge, the Yu Stele, the "Mochi" stone inscription of the Song Dynasty calligrapher Mi Fu's handwriting, and the Ju Buddha Pagoda. When the Southern Song Dynasty fell, the Song clan Qi Ruohe and Huang Shichen fled to Zhangpu in Guangdong, where they took refuge and lived in seclusion. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, his tenth grandson Zhao Fan built a fort here, and later Zhao Fan's son Zhao Yi expanded it. The castle was built in the style of Bianjing, the capital of the Northern Song Dynasty.
