It felt like stepping back in time, absolutely beautiful. Service: The front desk staff was very polite and proactively helped carry our luggage to the second floor. MANSIN Dining | Goodnight Sweet Soup: After a day of exploring, coming back to the accommodation and enjoying a warm bowl of Fujianese peanut soup was incredibly comforting.

We received a warm welcome from the staff. Check in was straightforward and prompt. The lobby area was spacious and pleasantly furnished. The staff gave us a room upgrade and we had a spacious and well appointed room that made us feel very at home. When we arrived, it was close to lunch time and the staff checked in on us on meal requests, we took the lunch and it was a good spread of local specialties. Breakfast was freshly made and gave us a good impression of how a well prepared local breakfast would be like, also the meal was well balanced with dairy, vegetables etc. The room package also included a afternoon tea in the garden with a water feature, a tea bath and a evening Chinese tea appreciation session where we chatted with the staff. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Traveling to Wuyishan during the off-season was wonderful; the autumn scenery was absolutely stunning with everything golden-hued. I specifically chose a guesthouse to better appreciate Wuyishan's natural beauty. Shuizhuang No. 8 Guesthouse is truly nestled within a park, offering distant mountain views and a close-up look at the river while you sip tea and admire the ginkgo trees right outside your door. Not only is the scenery beautiful, but the surroundings are also quiet and comfortable. It's conveniently located with great transport links, and both the dining and accommodation are excellent. The service is warm and courteous, and the staff are very prompt in providing assistance. I'd highly recommend staying here over a hotel!

Booked this for a friend, and after looking at several options, I still went with this one because the location is truly excellent. Besides Jimei, which requires a subway ride, you can reach all other places by bike. Of course, if you don't want to cycle, you can walk 200 meters to the main road and catch the tourist special line 29, haha. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and helpful with travel tips. Having a washing machine was also very convenient.

There are many attractions close to it, such as Huangcuo Beach, Xiamen University, Shapowei, Zengcuoan, and I searched and found that they are all very popular attractions. This B&B is absolutely amazing! The environment is amazing, and you can tell the owner has put a lot of thought into it. There are green plants and flowers everywhere, which is so relaxing. They also provide plenty of snacks in the lobby, which are immediately replenished after eating, which is a really thoughtful touch. The lobby itself is also very comfortable; it would be wonderful to spend an entire afternoon quietly reading. The rooms are incredibly clean. We booked a twin room, which was perfect for bringing children; the space was ample and convenient. The best part was that our room also had a small terrace, which was a real treat to sit out and enjoy the breeze at night. The receptionist was incredibly kind and considerate from check-in to check-out. She even kindly told us that parking fees could be reimbursed. The entire experience made us feel like home.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Sangu Old Street, about a 10-minute walk away, and it's also very close to the attractions! The wontons in the morning are freshly made and absolutely delicious; I had to order more after finishing my first bowl! The proprietress is incredibly nice. I even got to learn about tea ceremony and tasted several authentic teas!

It's really perfect for a family trip. The environment is great, and we stayed on the first floor with a small courtyard. The customer service lady was very nice and responded promptly to any questions I had. We were rushed, otherwise I would have loved to stay longer.
