It is said that it was built in Taisho 7 as a villa of Denbei Kamiya, a businessman of the Meiji era who was touted as the king of Japanese wine. (At that time, there were Japanese-style buildings and Western-style buildings, but it seems that only Western-style buildings remain.) Denbei Kamiya is famous as the founder of Kamiya Bar in Asakusa and Chateau Kamiya in Ushiku (Ibaraki). It is a beautiful building with a mix of Japanese and Western styles. You can also learn about the history of the Inage coast. I didn't know it had anything to do with the founder of Kamiya Bar.
Currently under earthquake resistance construction, you cannot visit it, but if it is open to the public, the neighboring citizen gallery, Asama Shrine, and the house related to the residence of Puji and his wife, the real younger brother of Puji, the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty of China, are also nearby.
