Nice starting point for learning about the city
The visitor information office is a small building in the main town area. It has pictures and explains about the 2011 Tsunami. Worth about 15-20 minutes before venturing about.
When I opened the door and entered, there was no one, but there was a pamphlet for tourist information, so I was able to kill time while waiting for the ship.
The "Ishinomaki Tourism Association / Oshika Office" is located at Asahikawa Port. We were asked to introduce restaurants around Asahikawa Port and give us tourist information about the neighborhood. There were also plenty of pamphlets.

Through the shipping company, I was able to take a walk around the Kinkayama Koganeyama Shrine with my unnecessary luggage on Kinkayama Island.
I got a tourist map.
