Apprentice team の last の venue
Original Text
Access is not good to go through a slightly narrow road, but there is a signboard for information. There is a public toilet nearby and you can park your car. At the last place of the apprenticeship consisting of students from Okinawa Prefectural Daini High School, 149 school officials are enshrined. I feel the foolishness of the Japanese leadership that causes such results.
I've been here again this year. Previously, Shigeharu Aoyama was talking about the apprenticeships on a TV program and learned about this place, and I also learned that there are several memorial monuments for the apprenticeships besides "Himeyuri no To". The Shiraume Tower was the last place of the apprenticeship consisting of students from Okinawa Prefectural Second High School, and they seemed to have helped to provide medical care for wounded soldiers at the nursing place. A small monument of natural stone was built in January 1948, then August 1951 and June 1992 ...
Itoman was a fierce battlefield, so there are many memorial monuments, but I think it's easy to understand because there are signs and parking lots. The battlefields in southern Okinawa require preparations or guidebooks. I don't know why if I'm just sightseeing.
I chartered a taxi and visited. It is a memorial tower built on the end of the Shiraume Apprentice Nursing Corps, which consists of students from Okinawa Prefectural Daini High School. There was a staircase down to the self-determination moat in front of Nanzenkoji Temple on the premises. I didn't have anything and just gassho, but if you can hand over the flowers, it would be better to prepare in advance. There are no shops around.
Visited by rental car. Equipped with parking lot and toilet. The area around the tower is maintained. It is a facility for memorial services and has no tourist attraction elements.
