There are many cultural properties.
Original Text
It is a temple of the Tendai Mamori sect along the old Tokaido. It is a sect located on the west side of Lake Biwa and is headed by the Akechi family's family temple Saikyoji Temple. It was stated in the instruction manual that there are many cultural properties and there are Buddhas designated by the prefecture. This area is a little high, so you can see the distance from the precincts.
When I was strolling around Kameyama-juku, there was a magnificent bell tower gate. It is called Henshoji Temple. There is a staircase when you pass through the bell tower gate, and when you go down, you will find the main hall. This main hall is a relocation of the entrance and part of the shikidai of the former Kameyama Castle Ninomaru Palace, and it is said to be a rare remains. The onigawara was beautiful and impressive.
When I was walking around Kameyama-juku in the morning, there was a magnificent temple. Is it about 10 minutes to walk from Kameyama Station? Located along the old highway, there is a steep slope when you pass through the bell tower gate from the highway, and the main hall is under the slope. Therefore, it is said to be an old temple called "Henshoji Temple that hits the bell with his head". The statue of Amida Nyorai, the principal image, was built during the Kamakura period and is designated as a prefectural cultural property.
A temple facing the old Tokaido. The car parked at the gate is in the way, and I can't see the stone monument with the name of the temple. It is said that it was called 'Hensho Ji Temple that hits the bell with the head' because there is a main hall below the bell tower gate to the main hall. The main hall is said to have been relocated to the entrance of Kameyama Castle Ninomaru Palace and the shikidai, which was built in 1862, in 1868, but it is unknown from the appearance. At the end of the main hall, rokujizo is quietly enshrined in the unrelated Buddha.
It is an old temple of the Tendai sect located about a 5-minute walk from Kameyama Castle. It was a mysterious arrangement that the main hall was located down a steep slope from the stately mountain gate. The main hall was relocated from the entrance of the former Kameyama Castle Ninomaru Palace, and it had a historical appearance. It was a weekday so I was able to worship quietly.
