Sunset view over the city, river and islands
We stopped here briefly to see the sunset, and it was truly gorgeous. The sea and islands in the distance were purple and blue in the twilight, and the lights of the city twinkled.

When I visited 88 Chikurinji Temple in Shikoku, I headed for Mt. Godai. Although it is located right from the sea side, it is a hill and the area was maintained as a park. Depending on the location, the view from the hill is open, although the view is blocked by the trees, and when visiting Takerinji Temple, I was able to overlook the city.

Lovely views
Be sure to go to the top of the observatory for 360 degree views of the area. The panoramic views are beautiful.
