Gu Yanwu Cemetery

Gu Yanwu's purpose is located behind Gu Yanwu's former residence, next to the picturesque Guyuan, composed of Tinglin Temple and cemetery. The bronze statues and furnishings of Gu Yanwu reflect Gu Yanwu's influence and fame, and the stone monuments on the cemetery also reflect the admiration of future generations.

Guyuan is rebuilt according to history, integrating lakes and mountains, historical and humanities, and has the style of Jiangnan private garden. Surrounded by water, pavilions are scattered, flowers and trees are sparse, which is a good place for Yangchun-mei, Yanxia-Guanhe, Golden-Autumn-Guangui, and cold winter-snow.

Gu Yanwu was a scholar at the end of the Ming and early Qing Dynasty, and was a man from Qiandeng Ancient Town in Kunshan, Jiangsu. Gu Yanwu died of illness in Quwo, Shanxi, and his family buried him in the former residence of Qiandeng in the ancestral grave. There was a temple in front of his tomb, but it was seriously damaged in the Cultural Revolution. It was repaired by the local government.

Gu Yanwu Cemetery is in the former residence of Gu Yanwu in Qiandeng Ancient Town in Kunshan. The former residence is free to open. The world is happy and dead.
