Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, located in Nangui Village, Xijiang Town, Leishan County, southeast of Guizhou Province, 36 kilometers away from Leishan County and 33 kilometers away from the state capital of Southeast Guizhou Province. It is connected by more than ten natural villages built on the mountain, surrounded by mountains, reconnecting and stacking, and terraces are directly connected to the sky by the mountains. The Baishui River passed through the village, dividing the Xijiang Miao Village into two. Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village built a unique wooden structure hanging tower in the middle of the mountain, and more than 1,000 households hanging towers changed with the undulating terrain. The main attractions of Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village are Xijiang Miao Museum, Drum Shantoujia, Huolutoujia, Brewing House, Embroidery House, Bataclan Workshop, Silver Clothing Workshop, Observation Deck, Yingge Ancient Road, and idyllic Sightseeing Area. Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is an open-air museum, which exhibits an epic of Miao development, becoming a grandstand for viewing and studying the traditional culture of Miao. In 1982, Xijiang Miao Village was listed as a tourist attraction of Guizhou East Line by the Guizhou Provincial People's Government. In 1992, Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village was listed as a provincial cultural relics protection unit in Guizhou Province. In 2005, Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village Diaojiao Building was listed as the first batch of national-level intangible cultural heritage. According to the official website of Guizhou Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism in August 2022, Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village was a 4A-level tourist scenic spot.
It is convenient and fast to buy tickets on Trip.com. The Miao Village is very different from the night scenery during the day. I personally recommend staying in the scenic spot for one night and watching the brightly lit Miao Village, such as the world in Miyazaki's animation.
Miaozhai is still worth going. Experience different ethnic minority customs. The stone road up the mountain in the stockade is difficult to climb but it is also very interesting. The only difficult to understand is that the sightseeing car scenic area is not allowed to sit. You can only sit from the big north gate to the small north gate. If you want to go from the small north gate to the west gate, You have to carry your luggage through the whole village. The villagers can wait for the bus in the village, but tourists can't, and they don't understand.
A particularly satisfying homestay experience. First of all, the location is quite good. On the mountainside of the river, you can overlook the panoramic view of Miao Village in the room. It is not far from the ancient town from the small road. But Guizhou is a high and low mountain road, not suitable for elderly people with bad legs. Secondly, the butler service of several little brothers and beautiful women in the hotel is particularly friendly and comfortable. They take the initiative to pick you up and pull your luggage. If you have nothing to do, you will lead the way for fear that you will lose it. The afternoon tea is very generous and the coffee is delicious. If you like to take pictures, the Miao costumes provided by the hotel are really fragrant, new and beautiful, and there are children, you can parent-child.
The commercial atmosphere is very good. The most shops except for eating are renting clothes to makeup and travel. It has been raining when I go, so some outdoor performances have been cancelled. I heard that there are reed performances in normal weather, but there is no scenery in Miao Village on rainy days. The photos in the rainy evening are not super good-looking. It is also very recommended to rent a set of clothes to make up and take some good-looking photos. After all, don’t come in vain. There are many delicious skewers near the No. 1 bridge at night. The specialty here is the black hair pig small skewers, 1 yuan 1 skewers, The peppers are very fragrant, there are a lot of accommodation, I chose not to be afraid of the stairs, most of the time I listen to the rain in the hotel, it is also a relaxation.
