Shuishe Great Mountain Nature Trail

There are two entrances to the Shuishe Dashan Trail. The north entrance is next to the bus parking lot of the Youth Activity Center, and the stone entrance is the starting point of the trail; the south entrance is located in the Dehua Thao complex, and the stone sculpture image at the entrance is the starting point of the trail. The whole line rises up to 1,300 meters horizontally. It is a hiking section that requires considerable physical strength. When you reach the top, you can overlook Sun Moon Lake and enjoy the view of the Central Mountains. Due to the higher altitude, the forests on both sides of the trail pass through low-altitude broad-leaved forest to middle-altitude coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest, which is rich and changeable, and the ecology of birds, insects and animals is rich, which is an excellent path for ecological observation. If the time is limited, you can reach the mountain entrance, go down the mountain along the circular route, and pass through the wooden plank road in series to reach the south or north entrance, which only takes about two hours, which is a relatively popular itinerary.
