Among the many existing temples in Kanazawa Ward, it is second largest after Shomyoji Temple and Ryukaji Temple, and is a valuable famous temple that conveys the prosperity of the Medieval and early modern times of Rokuura. Although the cityscape has changed and has hardly left, it is a good idea to activate efforts to cherish local historical heritage and to promote effective use of it.

It is a large Nichiren sect temple along the main street from Kanazawa Hakkei to Rokuura. The precincts are well maintained, and you can see the existing yagura in the graveyard. It's the entrance to Kamakura. The huge yagura group on the east side is famous, but it was destroyed unharmed due to the construction of the condominium. Currently, a part of the upper part of the ruins is left as a replica with glass fiber reinforced cement. It's worth a look.
A 10-minute walk from the Hakkei Kanazawa temple of the Nichiren sect.
