Heavy cruiser Kaohsiung の bridge がリアル
Original Text
This is a monument in Verny Park, a 5-minute walk from Shioiri Station on the Keikyu Line, and is located third (first is the Navy monument) from the seaside side. The time of construction was unknown, and it was made realistically by imitating a heavy cruiser Kaohsiung-type bridge. The letters of national prestige were engraved on the front of the monument, and the map of the South Sea area with naval power was engraved on the back.
It is said to be a monument to honor the national prestige, one of the monuments in Yokosuka Verny Park. The monument shaped like a warship makes you feel the military port Yokosuka.
If you walk from Yokosuka's Verney Park to the sea side from JR Yokosuka Station and walk along the quay for a while, you will reach the edge of the park. Around that area, there were stone monuments lined up, like Yokosuka, which has a military port, and there was a monument of warship ○○. One of them was the monument to honor the national prestige. This monument itself is in the shape of a warship bridge. I have never seen such a stone monument.
A monument to honor the national prestige in Sakura Square in Verney Park
Original Text
Verney Park in Yokosuka City is a beautiful park that continues long and narrow from the sea side of JR Yokosuka Station. At the southern end, it was called "Sakura Square", and there were several stone monuments in one corner. One of them was the monument to honor the national prestige. When I looked at it thinking that it was a mysteriously shaped stone monument, I noticed that it was in the shape of a ship's bridge.
It was one of the five naval-related stone monuments lined up in Verny Park, and it was eye-catching because it was shaped like a bridge of warships. I thought it was a monument that conveys the enthusiasm of the time when I tried to fight the world.
