Xizhou Copper Pillar

Xizhou copper column is located in the scenic area of Furong Town, Xiangxi, Hunan Province. The copper column is the boundary marker of the local toast division. There are two places in the scenic area to display the copper column, one is on the swinging square, and the other is on the street in the town. There is a copper column exhibition hall, introducing the history of the copper column. General visitors rarely enter the exhibition hall.

Four years after Jin Tianfu (939), Xizhou stabbed Shi Peng Shichou and the Chu Wang Maxifan who occupied Hunan at the time. After Peng Shichou's defeat, the five years after Jin Tianfu (940) and Ma Xi Fan discussed the peace, and engraved the terms of the war on the bronze pillar, which was for Xizhou bronze pillar. In Furong Town, there is a Xizhou Square to commemorate this history.

Although Xizhou copper columns are moved from other places, it has a history of thousands of years, so it is a treasure in Furong Town. Furong Town specially arranged rooms for copper columns and interpreted them in text.

It is an important literature to study the ancient history of Tujia, and Tujia people regarded the bronze pillar as a god.
