Qianjiang Travel Guide
Qianjiang is located in south-central Hubei Province in the heart of the Jianghan Plain, with its south side facing the Yangtze River. It has been praised as “the capital of fish and rice” and “the land of water and gardens.” Qianjiang is the hometown of the famous modern Chinese playwright Cao Yu (1910-1996). A long history and culture have endowed Qianjiang with precious cultural sites like the Clay Platform of Zhanghua, the Exhibition Hall of the Works of Cao Yu (曹禺著作陈列馆), and the Li Hanjun Exhibition Room (李汉俊陈列室).
