Apartments in East Java, Indonesia

This was my first time staying at Ascott Surabaya, and the experience was not very memorable for me. When I first arrived, the security staff were not proactive in helping unload my luggage from the taxi. Secondly, the lobby layout was not particularly impressive in my opinion. However, the staff were fairly friendly and explained the hotel facilities well. As for the room, it was decent and in good condition. The kitchen equipment was complete, and the microwave, washing machine, and dryer all worked well. The bathroom was clean, although I think it could be redesigned to look more modern. The check-out process went smoothly, but once again the security staff were disappointing. He just stood there without offering any help to load my luggage into the taxi. At that time I was carrying one large suitcase and one small one, so assistance would have been greatly appreciated. That should be part of a security staff’s responsibility, especially for a five-star hotel. For the location, Pakuwon Trade Center (PTC) is located right in front of the hotel, making it very convenient to visit Pakuwon Mall, the largest mall in Indonesia. For me, staying here once is enough. For some reason, I didn’t feel any significant comfort, especially for a five-star hotel, and the attitude of the security staff was very disappointing.

What a great place to stay to be honest with you all. I used to stay here with my family for staycation, this place is really giving us a good vibe! It's totally clean and the location is very good!!! There are a lot of shopping malls nearby too

The floor is like never swept and mopped.

Hot/cold water dispenser in the apartment 👍🏻 6. Lamp plug wire was exposed 7. Cupboards/shelves were cracked/broken 8. Stained- scissors, towel, stool, sink, bathroom tiles 9. Trail of ants found in the bathroom but service staff came promptly to clean it 10. Kitchen area has a musty smell - maybe due to poor ventilation 11. Bathroom door handle cover was loose 12. Water flow was slow

Semua baik. Udh langganan. Kamar bersih. Bisa akses kolam renang. Minus nya cm 1, receptionist nya ga 24 jam. Mungkin bs improve spy receptionist nya jaga 24 jam.

Beyond expectation 👍 Facilities were great, and the price was affordable. The location is strategic, and the service was good. The view from the room was also very nice. (Photos attached). Just a suggestion for next time: maybe you could inform guests about the parking floor (P1, P2, etc.) upon arrival. We had some trouble getting our car out late at night and very early in the morning because the mall access has limited hours, and our car was parked on P1. Thank you! We'll definitely stay here again next time.

The room is very good, convenient to travel, come with the family, the most problem. The receptionist is kind, cute, polite, recommended for Thai people. There is food around the hotel as well. Come together with many friends, very cool.

The check in procedure was not efficient and meant we had to wait for several hours for a member of the team to come and check us in. The office kept putting the phone down as they did not speak English but would also not WhatsApp to arrange check in. A lady on the front desk for the hotel assisted in translating. Once checked in all was fine. Gym good also. Deposit of 200k, returned at check out.

Conveniently located near many dining options. The hotel offers a pleasant ambiance and comfortable rooms.

The apartment is small and worn out. The glass at the kitchen wall cracks. The toilet is dirty too. Needs to renovate and do some painting. The balcony is too small and dirty. The location is very good though as it is connected to the supermall pakuwon.
