Came here with friends to see the ocean, and aside from the room being a bit small, the mattress was comfortable, and everything was generally clean. I also appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff were when we communicated over the phone.
Being right by the beach, it was great to park and then walk everywhere; we ate well and chatted a lot. ^^ Everyone agreed that for the price, they'd be willing to stay here again if they ever come back.
Thank you so much to the good boss and wife.
While barbecuing (don't get a drop of water on your hands), your wife brought beer to Hawaiian Beer Keeper, so we ate well.
I used it with a middle school boy and a family of three, and it was so convenient that I want to come back again next time.
It's clean after remodeling, and the best thing is bedding! Really clean!!!
When I went home, I was really grateful that the boss packed sesame leaves and various vegetables and sent them to me~^^
ah. really! It's good to come with a child because you can see the stars in a daze.
I met the owner again who came out to swim in the river in front of the pension in the afternoon after leaving the room. Thank you very much for greeting me until the end.
We really enjoyed staying here. The room quality, and the location near the sea were great. The view of the sea was a bonus. We found a good supermarket nearby for our needs.
We visited Seoraksan national park each day and this destination was easily accessed by the 7 or 7-1 bus.
Thoroughly recommended
Because it's a newly built building, all the appliances are brand new.
The room is fully equipped with an induction stove, cooking utensils, a drum washing machine, and a refrigerator (freezer). It's a resort-like experience.
The location is perfect, between Yangyang and Sokcho. The convenience store is located on the first floor, and breakfast is 15,000 won per person.
It's better than wasting time going out to eat.
Even though Seongsu is notorious for the rip-off season in Gangwon-do, we booked here on a fixed rate basis.
We had a wonderful time, from surfing to exploring. I've had many unfortunate experiences while traveling in Gangwon-do, but this accommodation was truly the best.
I took an Uber from the bus terminal and was dropped off at Building C because I just typed the hotel name — it happened to be the first building we passed, and I didn’t know that it wasn’t the main one. Building C has no reception, so I went up to Level 4 (if I remember correctly) for the kiosk check-in. It was a bit laggy, but I managed to complete the process and was assigned a room in Building A. I’m not sure if all rooms with the Ondol (heated-floor) type are in that building.
I had to walk to Building A with my two suitcases, which took around 5-7 minutes — not too bad, but it felt a bit of a hassle after a long trip. The location, however, was really good. If you love catching the sunrise, you can simply wake up early and walk for about 2 minutes to the beach.
I also booked an Uber ride to Seoraksan National Park for a 5 a.m. hike, which cost ₩17,500. The room was quite spacious, especially for a solo traveler. The only downside was that there’s no bidet or smart toilet. You might also want to bring your own large towel, as they only provide small ones, and no toothbrush kits — although there’s a vending machine on the first floor for toiletries and slippers if you need extras.
The heating floor worked perfectly, and the room was very clean. It’s well-equipped with cooking and dining utensils, a built-in electric stove, a washing machine, and a large fridge — ideal for longer stays. There are also plenty of convenience stores, coffee shops, and restaurants on the first floor, and several attractions are within walking distance.
Overall, it’s a great place to stay — comfortable, clean, and convenient for both short and long visits in Sokcho.
Location : not far from Sokcho express bus terminal and Sokcho intercity terminal by taxi/bus , exact location in Maps but don’t have any sign outside the building. Can walk to Sokcho market, GS25, King Crab restaurants.
Room : New and clean, I have ever stayed in Busan branch before here is a bit tiny space for 4 people. Have enough nessesary amanities including automatic toilet, only 2 bottles of water/day. Maid make up the room every day. My room have a side of habour view = you have to lean out from the balcony to see the sea view.
Receptionist : kind & polite, 24 hrs at front. Could request to call a taxi but somes dont use the taxi metre and ask for higer price. Kakao taxi is better.
What a nice experience here! Warm and clean room, beautiful river view, comprehensive facilities, and most importantly, the toys for kids are so cute, my kids enjoyed a lot!
New hotel!!!
The facilities are definitely the best
Clean, and there are delicious restaurants nearby~~
100% hotel that I would visit again^^
There are 3 convenience stores nearby
Convenience store shopping is possible ㅎㅎ
This building is different from the AB. It's harder to find. There are no signs. The parking is small. It's underground and accessible via an elevator. The rooms are small, but everything is provided. Dishes, towels, extra pillows, and cleaning products are all included. The balcony is small, with a partial sea view. Very clean. Check-in after 4 PM is late. The beach is very close.
Perfect stay! The room had a wonderful view of the ocean and coast, we took many nice pictures. The hotel is literally in front of the SokchoEye, perfect to relax after a long drive! The room was spacious, we had a tiny kitchen which was extremely appreciated! Easy parking.
The self check-in and self check-out were the cherry on top 🥰 I’ll definitely stay here again in the future!

CChamandarHotel is self check-in (no staff onsite), you’ll receive a message from the hotel on the luggage storage password (24 hrs access - no assigned locker, just a room), and your room number and password. Ignore the self checkin kiosk at the lift lobby, you can go straight to your room with the password (but early checkin results in extra $). There is a wonderful sea view cafe called Hajodae Coffee, right at the next building. The Naksansa temple is also within walking distance (dont follow Naver Map, just walk towards Naksan Beach Hotel - you can see a lot of people walking up the steep road up the hotel). Food was unfortunately meant for groups, so solo travellers might need to make do with whatever you can find (convenience stores were available everywhere). There is a coin karaoke at Level 2 of the hotel building, have fun. Just felt a bit cheated when the bed actually back faces the sea, you cant see anything from the bed 😂. On the side, the tiles in the balcony seemed really dangerous, like they were going to explode. Loved that you can take the bus 9-1 from Yangyang Passenger Terminal (if you come from Gangneung Intercity Bus Terminal). It runs surprisingly quite frequent, about 10mins.

GGuest UserI suddenly wanted to see the sea again, so I caught it as I was leaving.
I worked hard to find a place that looked good and made a reservation.
Everything else was pretty good.
Maybe it's because there aren't many guests.
A quiet room was requested. A place with a good view.
I asked for it and they gave me a nice, quiet room.
I didn't read the instructions carefully...
The groom washes first, then I wash.
There was no hot water, so I called the front desk.
It comes with enough hot water for two people (80 liters).
They said they would come out in 30 minutes.
I was a bit embarrassed
It was okay though it wasn't a very cold winter.
It would be difficult in winter or if there were a lot of family members.
I've been to a few places, but...
I don't know if the water pressure is weak. ..
It's a bit weird that there's no hot water.
There are a lot of rooms and it seems to be large.
I think it needs improvement.

NNicole AhnVisited here cuz it’s pet friendly. We have 4.5kg dog and this room allows just one dog that weighs less than 6kg. The hotel provides basic stuffs such as urine pads, snacks, water, a small bed, and stainless steel bowl. U need to pack ur dog’s food since they don’t provide it The room was small but enough for 2 people. However, it’s clean but not as clean as the pictures showed. But the price was reasonable so it’s not too bad for those who just stay 1-2 days.
GGuest UserGreat location, close to Elysian ski resort. Could have been cleaner, I could tell the housekeeping in between stays was not very thorough, but it got the job done for the price. Bed was uncomfortable but I only stayed one night so I made do. The massage chair was definitely the highlight of this room after being on the slopes all day. Very noisy and loud throughout the night from neighbors partying. The owner was very nice.
