Just like the pictures, it was fantastic! The customer service was excellent, and the check-in explanation was very detailed. We were also able to store our luggage for free. We arrived early, and although check-in is normally at 3 PM, we were lucky enough to be able to check in by 12 PM. This is absolutely not a fake review! The only downside is that because it's close to a wet market, if you open the balcony door, there's a strong smell of stale seafood. Check-out was convenient, and no deposit was required. For four of us, the value for money at this price was unbeatable. Plus, there's a washing machine and a pool!

Room filtered water has an unpleasant odor. Sutera Avenue lack of management maintenance, parking basement is dirty and dark, corridor amd lift also dirty.

I read a ton of reviews before my stay and mentally prepared myself, so my check-in experience was surprisingly good – not as unbearable as some reviews made it sound. Perhaps I had a higher tolerance after understanding the general conditions of hotels in Kota Kinabalu at this price point. This place actually has quite a few advantages. First, the price isn't expensive. For two nights, with two 1.5-meter beds, it can accommodate a family of four, and it's a one-bedroom, one-living-room setup. A price of 900 during Chinese New Year is already very good value. Next, the location: it's directly opposite the Central Market, and just a short walk to Gaya Street Night Market, so dining and shopping are close by. As for cleanliness, the walls were dirty; it seems like they haven't been maintained. But almost all hotels in Kota Kinabalu at this price are like this, so visitors should be mentally prepared and not compare it to hotels in China. Also, if you booked through Trip.com, you can skip the queue. There are two ladies at the front desk; just go to the one on the right to check in directly, don't queue on the left.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The first time was with my friend, and the second time was with my younger sibling. I really like Hotel Paradise Suite because of its strategic location and the free amenities like Netflix and YouTube. Overall, I am satisfied with this hotel except for one thing, the mattress. It is too soft, which causes back pain and makes it uncomfortable to sleep. If you look at the third picture, that is where I chose to sleep. After moving there, I was finally able to sleep better. No hate. I truly like this hotel. However, perhaps the management could consider upgrading the mattress to one that is of better quality and more comfortable.

Good position on the waterfront next to markets etc. Check in is very well organized, you communicate on WhatsApp or WeChat with a butler and everything is sorted for you. You will get a security access QR and door code and will do check-in and check-out independently. I had a studio with a fantastic sea view, good light and all the necessary amenities. This is more of a serviced apartment than a hotel, so the room is not serviced (mine wasn’t at least) but you will be able to cook and do your laundry and washing up in the room - washing machine is there and lots of cleaning products available. The swimming pool is available to use but typically it is crowded because many families stay in the building, therefore many children go play in or by the pool. I visited during ***** new year, so maybe that’s why occupancy was so high (I think it was fully booked). High occupancy causes a lot of elevator congestion, meaning it may be necessary to queue to use the elevator. But all in all a good option to stay in KK.

This is a really nice place. The room was cool, just like being in Kundasang. It was also comfortable, and we could cook, though there wasn't a rice cooker. But we brought our own, so it was fine. We'll definitely book this place again, it's awesome. Tiara Homestay is the best and amazing, thank you Tiara!

The place was clean and spacious, offering a beautiful garden view. They even provided a water filter. The entrance door was right by the elevator, and the parking lot was conveniently close by too!

The location is convenient, But accommodation faces the main road,The sound pollution is extremely serious Some guests were very uncivilized. Even late at night they were talking loudly and slamming the doors like fireworks, maybe trying to show how strong they are (but it was super annoying) There is NO free car park — you have to park at a paid parking lot 🅿️.

After booking, you need to add the owner on WeChat to communicate. It's an apartment hotel, so there's no front desk; it's self-check-in. The room is very spacious with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The balcony door was stuck. It's very close to the airport but a bit far from Gaya Street, and the location is a little remote. Downstairs, there's a night market and a train station. There are two convenience stores and a good selection of restaurants and cafes. It's probably best not to walk around outside at night as it feels a bit unsafe! There are people selling *****.

Я в восторге от этих апартаментов!! Сопровождение менеджером началось за неделю до поездки: заранее со мной связались в WA и направили подробные инструкции по заселению. Нюанс: нет платного раннего заселения, но при наличии свободных комнат могут принять раньше. Номер просто wow, есть все для проживания, если б ты приехал в одних шортах)) - все туалетные принадлежности, крем для рук и одноразовые шампуни L’Occitane, маска для сна, беруши, зонтик или дождевик и всякие нужные мелочи. В общем коридоре стоит холодильник в кока-колой, спрайтом и пр, питьевой воды - сколько хочешь! В самом номере и кружки Старбакс, и фен Дайсон с классными насадками. Ремонт свежий: прямо глаз радуется свежей затирке между кафелем!! 😁 Нюанс: мне одной было тесно. Так, далее: территория как в небольшом турецком отеле: 2 бассейна, спорт зал, баскетбольная площадка, детская площадка, прогулочные зелёные дорожки. Но не лежаков для загара, и как будто здесь не принято лежать у бассейна, хотя менеджер сказал мне, чтоб могу загоратт на здоровье. Расположение удобное! Рядом очень много кафе и ресторанов, аппарты находятся в самом Торговом центре (там кстати и обменник есть на минус 1м). Резюмирую: настоятельно рекомендую, а внимание к нюансам, потому что я опытный турист.
