Hotels With Bar in Lower-Saxony, Germany

The windows do not adequately insulate the noise from the main road. I would not have been able to sleep without earplugs. Unfortunately, there is no kettle, coffee or tea in the room. But the staff are very friendly and I was able to take coffee from the breakfast buffet to my room for an additional charge. We were also able to play a song in the foyer for our former colleague who had invited us to his 66th birthday. Thank you very much for that!

The hotel is a good hotel with a great location, close to the train station. Unfortunately, the road from the train station gate to the hotel is full of homeless people, and there is a smell of urine on the road, which may be the only point that deducts points.

The hotel is beautifully located. Honestly, the review should be split between the hotel and the restaurant. The restaurant was absolutely top-notch, with very friendly staff and excellent service. Everything was also very clean. The hotel reception is a different story. On my departure day, there was a lady who seemed completely overwhelmed with everything. A pity. Since I was traveling with my dog, I might have been given a ”special room,” which is fine in principle. I suspect it hadn't been used for a while. Unfortunately, some things weren't quite right there. The toilet was dirty, and the shower corners could really use a thorough cleaning. However, what was truly wonderful was that they provided a small bed and bowls for my dog. I think that's a lovely gesture. It's a nice hotel, maybe I just got unlucky with the room.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Hanover Central Station, which is super convenient for getting around. The breakfast area is spacious and the food is decent. The room isn't luxurious, but it's clean, tidy, and very quiet. It's great value for money and I'd recommend it.

Less than 15 min walk to city centre in snow. Room was nice and warm with the cold outside. Could fill up my thermosflask with hot water in the breakfast area for free. Was a bit disappointed that you could only stream to big television with Apple-devices. Would have been great to watch a movie on that screen warm and cozy in bed.

We were as a couple looking for a central hotel for a short holiday in town. After longer search and comparison on the Internet, our choice was to the Widukin Hotel. We were not disappointed and our expectations were partly overcome. The hotel is in the centre and everything views are in pedestrian range. Also there is a deep garage at a moderate price. There are no long-term parking spaces in the city centre, except for a little distance from the parking houses. Restaurants are numerous in the surrounding area and offer something for every taste and bag. The breakfast is rich and of good quality. The hotel rooms are clean, spacious and recently well-realized. Finally, it should be noted that bicycles can be safely placed in the deep garage. We would like to continue to recommend the hotel and would choose it again.

The location of the hotel is very good, less than 10 minutes walk from the train station. The old German lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and introduced me a lot. Very cost-effective, overall satisfaction.
