Nikolai EfimenkoThis hotel is really, really great, I loved it! Even though I stayed in a shared four-person room, it didn't bother me at all because almost every day (from morning till evening) we were out on excursions or somewhere else. The staff are friendly and caring, rooms are cleaned daily, and the showers and toilets are communal (but there are also a few separate stalls just for women). The breakfasts are delicious and varied – I would fly back to the Philippines again just for these breakfasts! Because here, I only had truly good food three times: first in Cebu, second at the hotel's breakfast, and third at an Italian restaurant in El Nido, that's it! In the shared room, you get a towel, a locker with a lock, and a large bed (unlike other similar hotels). I'm thrilled!

DanL0NGBeautiful little resort with a huge range of buffet options. Our kids loved the water park and we enjoyed the easy day trips to nearby beaches. Only downsides: we got food poisoning here; and it’s a fairly remote location (so if you’re wanting to explore - or go elsewhere for food - it’s not so easy).

Chris oosterveenWe had a really wonderful stay overall and created great memories here.
What we loved:
• The location is absolutely stunning – one of the most beautiful beaches in El Nido
• The beach villas are in a perfect spot, right by the sea
• The villas themselves are fantastic: spacious, comfortable, and well-designed
• Friendly and helpful staff
What could be improved:
• The pool is shared with a nearby campsite and feels outdated
• It’s too small for the number of guests across multiple resorts
• The restaurant was very disappointing: poor quality, no atmosphere, and not inviting
• We ended up going to nearby beach resorts for meals, where the food, pricing, and overall vibe were much better
Overall:
We truly enjoyed our stay thanks to the beautiful setting and comfortable villas. However, the lack of quality facilities—especially the pool and restaurant—made it feel overpriced. The price-to-quality ratio is not quite there.

This is the best hotel in town, with excellent service and facilities. It's located away from the noisy city center, but you can easily catch a tuk-tuk right outside, and be at the pier or central shops in under 10 minutes. The breakfast is delicious, with a rotating variety each day – I highly recommend the desserts and grilled meats. In the evenings, there's a free shuttle van at 6, 7, and 8 PM that can take you to shops in town; just head to the lobby 5 minutes beforehand. You can also email to book airport transfer service, which is more convenient than a shared ride. After a day out at sea, it's incredibly relaxing to take a dip in the pool when you get back.

Simagin_IvanThe resort is nestled in a quiet harbour within a small village just a short distance from Puerto Galera — you can reach the town in about 10 minutes by tricycle for 50 pesos. The property sits right on the waterfront, with its courtyard opening directly onto the bay. The setting is incredibly serene, cosy and picturesque. The grounds feature plenty of relaxing spots: comfortable chairs, sun loungers and hammocks where you can unwind. We especially loved the chair near the large tree — it was the perfect place to relax!
The sea near the resort is a bit murky due to local currents, so not many people swim here. However, this isn’t an issue at all, as you can quickly and affordably reach the stunning beaches of Sabang (I highly recommend La Laguna) by tricycle — or even on foot if you’re up for a walk. During low tide, you can explore the seabed right near the hotel. The resort also has a small swimming pool, and despite other guests staying there, we never had any trouble finding space to take a dip.
The rooms are clean and well‑maintained, featuring a small kitchenette, stylish bathrooms and even a bathtub. We stayed on the ground floor, so we occasionally noticed small ants and once spotted a gecko — but they never caused any inconvenience. Please note that the air conditioning is rather weak, so the room might feel a bit stuffy or not quite cool enough at times. There’s both a ceiling fan and a standing fan available, though, and overall the accommodation was comfortable.
The on‑site restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes for breakfast and other meals, with prices typical for a resort area. We were very pleased with the food. The staff are attentive, always smiling and eager to help.
During our week‑long stay, the resort wasn’t crowded, which made for a truly relaxing experience — you really get what you came for. Occasionally, local guests can be a bit noisy, laughing loudly or singing karaoke, which might disturb your sleep or meditation. However, this is not the resort’s fault, and it’s still relatively quiet compared to other spots around Puerto Galera, such as White Beach.
What could be improved:
1) Flip‑flops. It’s odd that a seaside resort doesn’t offer free flip‑flops like most similar places do — they only rent them out here. Even budget hotels usually provide this small convenience.
2) Charge for outside food. Corkage fees are normal, but charging an extra 150 pesos for any outside food is too much. Even though we weren’t charged, the mere existence of such a rule makes the resort look stingy. This rule should be removed.
3) Wi-Fi was dead almost all of the time. Don’t rely on it.
Thanks to the Blue Crystal Resort for a nice stay! I highly recommend it.

We traveled as a family of four and booked two rooms—one twin-sharing and one queen double. Both rooms were in good condition, clean, and comfortable. The staff were consistently friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Daily housekeeping is available upon request, which was convenient.
Before our trip, I was a bit hesitant after reading some negative reviews mentioning repetitive breakfast options and the absence of hairdryers. However, it seems the hotel has addressed these concerns. Each room now comes with a brand-new hairdryer (ours was still in the box), and we were pleasantly surprised that the breakfast offerings were varied and different each day.
The hotel’s location in Coron town is another big plus, making it easy to walk to nearby restaurants.
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again if we return to Coron.

Guest UserAMAZING!!! Thank you for allowing us to spend a few days in paradise!! Fantastic views, fantastic service and super kind owners!! The zany ocean floor and stays shallow far enough that it feels like a giant swimming pool! Food was great- drinks were cold and views were magnificent! It is a bit off the main road to get there but that’s what makes it special and not packed with people- well worth the journey to get there. Highly recommend it and we hope to come back again one day soon!! Thanks again for such a fantastic experience! :)

We stayed for a night at this hidden villa, and it felt like a true home away from home. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort.
The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

Anonymous UserWe had a great experience during our 4-day stay in Coron Soleil Express Hotel. All the staff were courteous, respectful and accommodating. The room was clean and the aircon functions well. The swimming pool is clean and did not feel too much chlorine in the water. As an overall rating, it was excellent. Will come back again in the hotel with families and friends.
