The 3rd China ASEAN (Nanning) Cultural Month | Nanning
Celebration
This year marks the China-ASEAN Year of People-to-People Exchanges, the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam, the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand, and the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Indonesia. To deepen cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and ASEAN countries and promote people-to-people connectivity, Nanning City is hosting the 3rd China-ASEAN (Nanning) Cultural Month from October 23rd to the end of November. Adhering to the principle of frugality, this year's Cultural Month, through government guidance and corporate participation, uses culture as a platform to promote economic development, encouraging social enterprises and associations to deeply integrate and collaborate, jointly planning and launching three major sections and six distinctive activities: "Enjoying the Month's Culture, Tourism, Sports, and Commerce Experience Activities," "Performing the Month's Arts Exchange Activities," and "The Month's Science and Humanities Activities." This year's Cultural Month is guided by the Publicity Department of the CPC Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Committee and the China-ASEAN Center, hosted by the Nanning Municipal People's Government, and organized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Nanning Municipal Committee and the Nanning Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism. The event, themed on building a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future, aims to establish a platform for cultural and people-to-people exchanges and cooperation between China and ASEAN countries, promoting "hard connectivity," "soft connectivity," and "heart-to-heart connectivity." With the theme "AI Meets ASEAN, Cultural Month Gets More Fun," the event adheres to artistic and popular appeal, emphasizing marketization and industrialization, creating new scenarios for cultural and tourism consumption, stimulating new cultural consumption, and promoting enjoyment and benefits for the people, thereby empowering high-quality development through culture.
