The room wasn't very big, and the bed was small. I feel like beds abroad are generally not large. My child, who is 1.78 meters tall, kept falling off the bed at night. The mattress was very soft, and even just sitting on the edge, it was easy to slip off. Downstairs was a meeting point for day tours, which made getting around very convenient, and many tour groups also stayed at this hotel. Aside from the convenience, the price simply can't compare to China; the cost of living is indeed very high. A can of soda usually costs around 30 RMB, and a meal can be anywhere from a few hundred to over a thousand. One lamb meal cost us 404 RMB. The blueberries from the supermarket were delicious, and picture 6 shows the area downstairs from the hotel. The water in Iceland is also very good. The restrooms at the airport bus station charge a fee, but you can skip paying – I saw foreigners doing it. The hotel charged a city tax when we checked out, which was about 175 RMB for me. Sky Lagoon hot springs felt quite average, more about the experience than anything else.

Shanghai based coupleA once-in-a-lifetime trip made more meaningful and charming by world-leading staff and service.
We messaged ahead and told them that we were on our honeymoon. Iceland is a unique place on Earth, but almost as surprising as the geology, geography and weather was just how remarkable and excellent this hotel was. Its location was outstanding right in the old city centre and an easy walk to boat trips (for organised bus trips, which all use the same bus stop numbering, the nearest bus stop is number 5, about 5 minutes’ walk away), the breakfast was splendid and the room was unbelievably cosy, which was particularly welcome after a winter’s day adventuring amongst the ice and snow and especially the epic and cold wind.
This once-in-a-lifetime trip was made extraordinarily special by the outstanding and attentive staff who really impressed with their thoughtfulness and commitment to excellence throughout. We cannot thank the whole team enough, both everyone we met as well as everyone who worked behind the scenes, for delivering a world-leading stay.
We felt exceptionally lucky to have chosen this hotel, and so delighted that we did!

Guest UserThe hotel is close to bus stop 12, which is convenient if you're taking a day tour. If you opt for paid transfers, it would cost an extra 100-200 RMB per person, so for two adults and one child, that's 400-500 RMB. If you're planning on booking a tour, I'd recommend prioritizing hotels near stop 12 for better value for money.

Pros: clean.
Plenty of shelving to put our stuff which was amazing.
Great that the shower had a handheld.
Breakfast was good. Multiple yogurt drinks, a yogurt bar, eads, scrambled and easy eggs, breakfast meat, porridge, melon, banana, gluten free section, juices and teas.
Water bottle filling station was very welcome.
Plenty of easy parking out front. Beautiful atrium when you walk in.
Cons: breakfast was expensive, even for Iceland. I wasn't going to stuff myself with enough food for it to be worth it.
Room was too hot, there was just a little window to cool it down and no way to create air flow. There was construction noise outside but closing the window was unbearable.
Bathroom was slightly slanted so you could feel it when sitting on the toilet, and when you opened the door even a little it would swing and bang the shower door/wall (movable curved glass that serves as both the shower door and wall).
Check-in was quite slow considering they knew we had just flown overnight and had paid for the night before because we knew we would be very tired and want to nap right away.
Overall a very nice hotel, seemed more for the business crowd but suited our needs as a vacationing family who had just flown in.

My stay at the Hilton Reykjavik Nordica was, overall, very satisfying. The hotel itself is spacious and comfortable, with a clean and modern design that perfectly captures the fresh Scandinavian aesthetic, while also offering the refinement and convenience expected of a high-quality accommodation. The front desk staff were excellent; check-in and check-out were efficient, and communication was smooth, making them feel both professional and attentive. My room was spotless and quite spacious, with a comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The attention to cleanliness details made me feel very secure and at ease. The hotel breakfast is also commendable, with a wide variety of fresh options that perfectly met my dining needs during the trip. While not in the absolute city center, the location is still convenient for getting around, and the quiet surroundings are ideal for a good rest. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, providing a consistent and reliable stay. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, you'll experience excellent service and quality here. All in all, this hotel offers a great combination of comfort, service, and brand assurance. My entire stay was pleasant and effortless, making it a highly recommended and quality accommodation option when visiting Reykjavik.

corinettThe hotel is right in the heart of the commercial district, with a Xiaozhu Supermarket nearby, making it super convenient for getting around. It's close to various bus stops and even within walking distance of the main bus terminal.
The lobby offers water and soda, and the rooms are quite spacious. There's even a barbershop on the first floor.

it was very nice overall. the shower had a great water pressure, the shower booth was very roomy and it had a swing door that helped from the water going everywhere. the bathroom itself was big and very clean. i got daily bottled water which was nice, and the tab water tasted great too. there was no view from my room window, because it was facing inside the building. i could see the other rooms’ windows but hardly a piece of sky. the coffee and tea options in the room was good. the bed was very comfortable. sheats were crispy clean. really nice tv, too. and the location was great. the bus station #1 is like 2 minutes away, which seemed like the biggest tourist pickup location in Reykjavík for many day tours.

RRRaayyyThis is one of the most conveniently located hotels, but the shower curtain used for the bathroom partition felt a bit uncomfortable, and it was a bit noisy downstairs. However, the breakfast was quite good.
This hotel was the only place during my stay in Iceland where I felt the service needed improvement. Even after I explained that I was in a hurry to check out because I needed to catch a bus, the front desk staff seemed to be training a new employee or something, which made me quite anxious while waiting. However, the front desk looked small and didn't seem to have many staff, so I can somewhat understand if they're understaffed.
The strangest thing is that for a hotel at this price point, it didn't provide slippers, while the nearby Edition and Hilton Nordica both did. It made my stay feel a bit inconvenient.
Overall, the location is excellent, so it's still worth staying here.

Guest UserThe hotel is small but thankfully clean. The heating wasn't quite sufficient, so it wasn't very warm. The location is close to the airport shuttle, but it's a bit of a walk to the city center. The donuts downstairs are delicious though!
