The location was excellent, being just a short distance from the Skyline Trail. Check-in was quick, although a warmer welcome would have enhanced the experience. The room felt dated and became quite cold at night, but extra quilts and sheets were provided. Unfortunately, there are limited accommodation options in the area, so it’s difficult to ask for more.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The place is exceptionally clean and comfortable. I loved the fact that we could sit outside on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It was a treat to be greeted by a young deer on the front lawn to start the day. The breakfast was exceptional .

The place was warm and cozy. Margaret was an excellent host, very knowledgeable about the area and we were shown alot of warm hospitality. Continental Breakfast choices were fresh and delicious, and raisin bread was freshly baked. Will definitely come back if we are ever back in NS.

The room was nice. Nice view of the water Garbage was left in cans by previous person. The hallway leading to room wasn’t tidy items piled up such as buckets and unused chairs Microwave didn’t work in the room Screen broken leading to deck

Glenn and Elizabeth are wonderful hosts! And their house is in a great location, walking distance to the middle of Pictou, with a nice view of the waterfront. Their house is lovely and quiet and we would definitely stay there again.

Everything was great. The only suggestion would be install a mirror or something at the end of the laneway to see oncoming traffic to pull out and cross the road safely.

The hotel is on a hill with an open and magnificent view, very suitable for vacation, some furniture in the room is a bit old but very clean, the bathing facilities have been updated very new, and very easy to use, the details are very thoughtful, the breakfast is too simple, the service staff is not very attentive,

It was the peak season of travel, the hotel was tight, the first time I booked a motel, I felt that the price was average, although the sparrow was small and complete, the room was small, the bed was small, and the room type of the cottage that was not booked by a friend was good.
