GGuest UserYou might be a little worried if you don't know how to check in until the last minute, and if you don't speak English or Chinese. When I arrived, the owner was very kind and helped me with a lot of things. The kitchen window was wide open, so it was a little cold inside the building, and the bunk beds had no curtains, so there was no private space at all, but aside from that, the environment was very good. There were people always occupying the living room and sofa, which are shared spaces, and I'm not sure if they were tourists or related people, but you might find it a little uncomfortable. There were no particular cleaning rules, which are common in dormitories, and the check-out time was arbitrary, which was nice, so I felt it was a laid-back place that was typical of Chengdu.

GGuest UserThe B&B is right in the ancient city, and it is very convenient for shopping, eating, and going to the Dujiangyan scenic area. The room is decorated very distinctively. Because the boss himself is a senior traveler, the photos on the wall are naturally souvenirs of his many years of travel. The room is not big but very clean and neat and orderly, exuding a sense of relaxation and comfort without losing warmth and elegance. The first time I came to Dujiangyan for tourism, the boss came to greet me in person and introduced the precautions for visiting the scenic spots and the characteristics of the surrounding environment. I can't help but feel that the boss treats the guests as friends. During this trip to Dujiangyan, I not only appreciated the spectacular water conservancy project, but also the encounter at Zifeiyu B&B was even more memorable!

Located just a few hundred meters to the right of Chengdu East Railway Station exit, this place is perfect for catching trains, for example, if you're heading to the Leshan Giant Buddha. 2. It's clean and tidy with a pleasant environment. You can do laundry, and they provide detergent, dish soap, hand soap, etc. 3. There's a dedicated dining lounge, and plenty of hot water for drinking and showering. They also have a special area for hanging clothes. 4. The room is quite spacious; the 8-person dorm had no problem accommodating all our luggage. 5. You change your own bedding (sheets, duvet cover, pillowcase) which is replaced for each guest. The bed is quite comfortable, and the bedside charging and night light are convenient. The curtains provide good privacy and block out light effectively.

GGuest UserThe best stay experience ever! I was pleasantly surprised by the high-quality wood used throughout the room – both the walls and floors were wooden. The decor was simple, unique, and stylish. I also really loved the small courtyard; when the sun was out, I'd lie on the lounge chair outside my room, soaking up the sun and watching the light filter through the leaves. It was a small, enjoyable pastime. I absolutely adored the common areas. I initially chose this hostel primarily for its communal spaces. Since I didn't have many travel plans for this vacation, having such a spacious yet intimate common area was wonderful. I could flip through a book, study a bit, drink some tea, or chat with fellow travelers from all over. Even just watching people come and go felt warm and interesting. The atmosphere really captivated me. In just a few short days, it felt a little like home, like my own little base in this area. The vibe among everyone was great, and I think I'll remember it. It was beautiful and genuine, somewhat aligning with my vision of the world and human co-existence. The brothers and elementary school student I played ping-pong with, the friends from around the world who made dumplings and watched the Spring Festival Gala, the incredibly talented and beautiful young woman with pink bangs, the American guy who was fascinated by Chinese tech companies, my San Francisco friend learning Chinese, the young-at-heart gentleman who transitioned from finance to Traditional Chinese Medicine, the textile designer from around the world studying art… The encounters were brief and wonderful. It was a fleeting glimpse into a corner of the world, a peek into a brushstroke of your life's canvas. I feel happy and honored. I loved the space and the flow of the design. Hope to see you again!

GGuest UserThis hostel is located on a quiet road near in a nice neighborhood of Chengdu. It is close to all the amenities with great restaurants at it's doorstep. The staff team was incredibly friendly and tried to accommodate us even though we don't speak the language. The rooms were spotless and equipped with an AC that quickly warmed up the room in chilly weather season. The bathroom was great and came with everything you might need for a comfortable stay.

The first floor is a retro-style bar with warm lighting and wooden decor – perfect for photos. In the evenings, there's chilled-out music, making it a great spot to grab a drink and chat. The atmosphere is just fantastic. Big shout-out to how clean it is! Whether it's the dorms or private rooms, everything is super spotless. The bedding is soft and cozy, and the bathrooms have separate wet and dry areas. There were no water stains or odors on the sinks or floors, completely unlike the typical messy hostel experience. It was incredibly comfortable to stay in. What's most interesting is how many foreign guests there are! People from all over the world are really friendly. In the common areas, you'll see everyone chatting, drinking coffee, and having a few drinks together. It has such an international social feel. Traveling solo here isn't lonely at all; you get to meet so many interesting people.

Overall, it was a solid budget-friendly option, but there are a few things worth noting depending on what you’re looking for. The biggest plus is definitely the price—you get exactly what you pay for, and for a short stay it does the job. The room itself was fairly basic but functional. The bed was decent enough for one night, and the space didn’t feel overly cramped despite having multiple occupants. That said, privacy is minimal, as expected in a shared dorm setup. Cleanliness was okay, though not perfect. The shared bathroom was usable but could have been maintained a bit better, especially during busier hours. If you’re particular about hygiene, this is something to keep in mind. The atmosphere was quiet enough when I stayed, and most guests were respectful, which made it easier to rest. Staff interactions were limited but smooth—check-in and check-out were straightforward without any issues. AAnonymous UserIt’s little bit hard to find but a very solid hostel for the price. The staff is amazing helping you with everything. Also they speak a bit English so it’s easier as a foreigner. I washed my clothes there it was nice. The sleeping cabines are big enough, air con is working and the WiFi is good. In total a solid hostel when you remember the cheap price. Would recommend.
