The place was quite clean, and the service was excellent. Laundry is super affordable at 200 yen, significantly cheaper than other hostels which typically charge 300-500 yen. They also have a dryer, so rainy days aren't an issue. The only drawback is that it's a wooden, detached house (not reinforced concrete), so the sound insulation isn't the best. Guests need to be mindful of their footsteps; walking heavily could lead to thumping noises audible downstairs, potentially causing complaints. Furthermore, showering is generally not permitted after midnight, as the sound of running water can disturb those on lower floors. Also, guests are required to make their own beds (sheets, pillowcase, duvet cover) upon arrival, and strip them off, placing them in the designated laundry basket upon check-out. If you're unwilling to do this or find making your own bed a hassle, you might want to consider booking elsewhere.
The room was decent, it's a bit of a walk up to the hotel but they do provide a free shuttle bus service from the ferry terminal, though I didn't take it as I like to explore the island a bit. The hotel is relatively closer to the Mt Misen Ropeway, but sadly it was under maintenence during my stay there.
The public bath is the highlight of my stay there, it was amazing and nobody was using it in the time I was there, so I had the entire jacuzzi to myself to relax in. For the shy ones, you are able to check if the bath is occupied from the television in the room before heading there.
The staff were very kind and tried their best to communicate with me in English, and even provided recommendations for dinner around the island as I did not opt for the dinner there. A single momiji manju was waiting on the table when I entered the room with a handwritten note from the staff, which was a very nice gesture.
Clean room and bathroom, medium size, good location, easy to find and move around. The problem is: all the rooms 501, 502, 503 are on a 5th floor and there’s is no elevator; so you’ll have to carry up your suitcase. Also, floors 2 to 4 are not part of the hotel, so be aware of the noise if you arrive late at night. And, there’s is no place to or way to keep your luggage after check out (check out is at 10am, so if your next train leaves later during the day of check out; you’ll have to take the luggage with you)
I had a great stay at this hostel! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location was perfect It felt relaxed from the moment I arrived. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers!
Good location, near to the coin car parking because no car parking available in the hotel. This is a perfect place for family, the hotel is so comfy and wide. we enjoyed so much and for sure we will come back again.
Budget friendly hostel in a good location. It is walking distance to Hiroshima station so it's very convenient. Only one thing my dormitory just next to the kitchen and it was noisy from the kitchen... People talk so lound and my last day early morning there are hangover backpackers in the room. A bit feels unsafe so stay alert

It was a clean and very stylish hostel.
It also has great access to tourist spots in the city.
There was a public bath and an izakaya within walking distance, so we went there in the evening.
However, there is no parking lot, so if you come by car you will need to park in a nearby parking lot.
Also, since it is a hostel, there are no amenities.
Furthermore, please note that eating and drinking in the rooms is not possible.
My friend and I stayed here previously. The price was very affordable, and the room was spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, from dishes to a microwave, which was incredibly helpful. There's a convenience store conveniently located nearby, and it's not too far from Hiroshima Station. It made for a very enjoyable trip.

Oolgakay92Praise the location, bunk room, and lounge/cafe. Was perfect! Staff also very friendly, free luggage before/after check in/out.
Room ambiance is perfect, free lent hair-dryer (they used dyson)
Shower room was clean. There is some small minor such additional fee for towel, toothbrush, a bit cold, and no storage luggage at room. But thats acceptable.
Building only 300meter from Hiroshima station. I couldn’t say more since I am satisfy enough while stay here. Recommended for solo traveling with affordable price.
Price may vary for booked this room, I was lucky got less then $25, planning to stay here again this January, but couldn’t get same price like I was paid last time.🥲
GGuest UserThe owner was a very friendly couple, and it was a space that made me smile naturally. The facilities were very beautiful and it was a hostel that I wanted to come again. The pork burger for breakfast was also delicious! It seems that overseas people often stay.
It's a bit of a walk from the station, but there are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, and there is a public bath, so I think it's the best without complaint.
GGuest UserWe stayed for just one night and were extremely satisfied! It's only about a 10-minute walk from the station, and there's a supermarket nearby, so we felt safe no matter what we needed. Furthermore, the building and the room itself had a very stylish, fashionable, and reassuring design, making it very comfortable. Thank you!
The bed in the photo is a little messy because we put our luggage there. 💦🙇♀️
GGuest UserIncredible traditional Japanese house, newly renovated with everything you need for comfort. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked for us to prepare our own meals. The garden is beautiful and you can enjoy ocean view and sunrise from the house, there’s even a blooming Cherry Blossom tree in the garden. Just a tip to keep the sliding doors closed properly because mosquitoes do get in. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

GGuest UserVery close to Hiroshima Station! You can reach it by walking, and the traffic location is very good!
Bathroom, toilet, bed and public space are clean (shampoo, shower gel and even face wash are provided) (toothbrush should be brought by yourself)
There is a refrigerator, a kettle, indoor slippers, hair dryer to use, personal bed also has a safe to put valuables.
Overall a great stay experience 🥰
Highly recommend the traveler!

GGuest UserLocated on the mountainside, the view is amazing. I considered the route to the hotel based on other reviews.
We took the low-way to the summit station to catch the sunset and checked in in the evening. The building is a renovated cultural property, and has a lot of charm. The staff were kind, and we were able to relax in the attached cafe.
As it is a cultural property, there are some inconveniences, but I am personally satisfied.
