The rice balls for breakfast were delicious. Thank you for the meal. I stayed here for an event at Tama Arena. It was a bit of a hassle because I had to change trains twice, but it was less than a minute's walk from Iwatsuki Station to the hotel, and there was a convenience store right next door, so I was able to relax at the hotel.
The hot spring was very beautiful, and the open-air bath was especially good for the skin to be twitchy.
The night rice was delicious with Japanese food and was just a good amount.
You can eat 1 cups of ramen for free from 21 o'clock.
It was a buffet type in the morning and all were delicious.
The room was renovated and beautiful.
I would like to stay when I go to Chichibu again.
The good thing is that the hotel is a traditional Japanese room renovation, cross beams, there are various Japanese buildings in the room, very distinctive, especially similar to the Wubing Bathtub, very pleasant. Worth living. But because it is a wooden floor, the room above the night is very loud!
The bad place is that someone received only until 6:00pm in the evening, and then I relied on my own DIY. I arrived at 6:45 and all of them were sold to the door. I asked the local Japanese to call the Japanese contact number and no one answered. There were no 7 children nearby. Call back trip.com, Miss Peng, who is in charge, works hard to assist, it is worth it! Finally found the self-service door password and successfully entered.
The hotel management is insufficient, there is no communication with customers, there are two password locks, I don't know that it is the door, and the room is not stated in the room; the contact number is not received after 6:00 pm, so that the guests are incompetent and surprised!
Friendly staff. Clean interior
Even though I was a foreigner, there was no inconvenience at all
It was winter, but it wasn't cold.
One room is a shared toilet
The shower is in the bath.
You must eat here.
Thank you for making your first hot spring in Japan a good memory
I'll go again.
4 Senior backpackers in Japan ”stumbled” onto this gem of a Japanese inn next to the Arakawa River. Less than 10 minute walk from the Kami-Nagatoro station and 10 minute walk to Nagatoro Station. We chose location due to proximity to river and start of river boat downstream river ride-sites. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality shown throughout our two-day stay. We were late in coming out of the mountains of Gunma prefecture (2 hour plus train ride away) and called the inn to notify and were subsequently told that this was no problem for check-in and supper. Fortunately we made up time lost and got to the inn earlier that expected and enjoyed the serene tree-lined river and men's and women's communal furo (shower/bath also in rooms) with outdoor views before dining. Then...we were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of the dinner! A real treat to get a 7+ course Japanese meal featuring the specialty vegetables and protein of the region! Upon departure we chose to walk with packs back to Kami-Nagatoro Station, along the river, but the proprietor had the Inn van ready and waiting to take us to the train station. The included breakfast's were also multi-course Japanese style, with regional specialties.
Granted, the hotel is somewhat time-worn, probably seeing its zenith in the 80's and 90's but all the facilities were cleaning, usable and safe. All staff went made a great effort to ensure that we were enjoying the locale and the Inn. This location, in our opinion is much more serene and ”touristy” than the main area surrounding Nagatoro station but is only 10 minutes walking from that action. If opportunity arises, we will return. The Saitama Museum of Natural is just across the street but this large and modern facility was not open on our late arrival and on Monday. We left on Tuesday morning, but wanted to visit this place also.

TTAKUMI WANFUThe location is excellent. One minor suggestion: I would prefer the option to check in earlier than the specified time and have a later check-out.
GGuest UserWhen I was looking for an inn with tatami mats to stay with my 0-year-old son and three couples, I had a connection, so I stayed here this time. My son is overjoyed by the freely high and walking around the tatami mats!
The story that I wanted to rent a parking lot, check-in, change of check-out time, etc. were very smooth to do everything on the line after booking. Because it is in the sightseeing spot, it can go to the place where it wants to go immediately, and above all, the feeling of home that cannot be tasted in the ordinary hotel was the best. When staying, we recommend that you take a massage together if you have time! This was also possible to consult with the reservation on the line. If you receive treatment the next morning you stay, you can extend the check-out time, so you can spend an elegant morning! I want to take care of you again.
JJCZIThe hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable. The rooms are large and with good views. The bathroom is shared but I never had any problem . The price is very good, I recommend breakfast and dinner there, home food, abundant and rich.
GGuest UserThis trip was a bit of an accident. I had seen the famous hot springs in Chichibu, and since I like private baths (kirikiri-furo) and ancient Japanese architecture, I chose this hotel to stay. However, I later discovered that there are indeed private baths (renti-kiri-furo) and Japanese ancient buildings, but the hot springs can only be found at Chichibu Onsen next to Seibu Chichibu Station. When I went there, many of them were closed on weekdays, and there were only 10 hotels. Sauna and hot bath, it's a pity that I didn't get to soak in the hot springs. However, the hotel service is very good. They provide maps and passports for visiting Chichibu, and also provide a very comfortable private sauna service. The bathing pottery in the room is very beautiful and interesting. The room has a building within a building, and there are many ancient wooden pieces. The small coffee table on the tatami on the first floor is very interesting. There is also free sake and beer. The service is very good. Breakfast rice balls It's also delicious
