The facilities were old, but the room was very clean.
The staff at the front desk and in the dining area were very kind.
I called the front desk to confirm check-in time, but they were short-staffed and did not answer, but other than that it was perfect.
I stayed alone on business. My reservation for one person was not communicated, so I was charged the hot spring tax for two people.
When I explained the situation, they corrected it to one person, but I would have liked them to respond more clearly based on the guest name at the time of booking.
There is a problem with trip.com's reservation specifications and I would like them to improve it.
We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Hagi no Yado Tomoe. Outstanding from start to finish. Delicious meals (breakfast and dinner) on both days, comfortable futons in spacious and well-appointed rooms, the most friendly and efficient service (sincere thanks to Takashi-san, our ‘butler’, but also to the entire team) and ideally located in walking distance to all Hagi’s most interesting sights. I can’t recommend Hagi no Yado Tomeo highly enough.
Renting a bicycle near Hagi Station allows you to explore the entire city. Cycling around the former residences of patriots, Hagi pottery, and the coast is a pleasant, quiet, and safe experience. Luggage can be stored free of charge at the information center or bicycle shops; the information center can help you call the hotel for luggage pickup and shuttle service. The hotel is well-equipped, with two free onsen baths. Enjoying a massage on the 7th floor while watching the sunset over the sea is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend having breakfast and dinner there. Finding food outside the hotel is difficult unless you're driving, and the hotel's cuisine is exquisite and meticulously prepared, with ocean views. The rooms are traditional Japanese tatami rooms with sea views, very charming! Overall, the service was excellent, and the experience was wonderful!
We stayed in a Japanese-Western room with twin beds, tatami mats, an ocean-view semi-open-air bath, and an ocean-facing Japanese-style room.
The Japanese-Western room was new and spacious, more than enough for two people, so we were able to relax in comfort.
The semi-open-air bath was great, so it wasn't cold even in winter.
We booked the Japanese-style room just to sleep, but sleeping on a futon on the tatami was exciting and enjoyable. The futons were prepared for us at dinner time.
There were two hot springs, and we were able to use the open-air bath and sauna.
Amenities and a dresser were well-stocked.
There was more food prepared for us at breakfast and dinner than we could eat, and both the fish and meat were delicious.
The staff were very attentive, and we were able to spend a very fulfilling time. Thank you.
Overall very satisfied with a stay
The hotel is conveniently located near the Guanmen Strait Bridge and the pedestrian tunnel. There is a 10-way terminal at the entrance of the hotel (although there are few shifts).
Rich dining, dinner in addition to the banquet, there are some fruit snacks that can be buffeted, etc.
The scenery is great, sitting on the balcony and watching the sea view is very good, the outlook of the big bath and the open-air view are also very good, and there have been very few people in the bath.
Overall very recommended!
It is a very good location accommodation for exploring Akiyoshi Cave. It was a visit in August, but I felt very comfortable with the outside wind at 23 degrees in the morning. When I opened the window, I could see the ears of the sea urchin, and the dragonflies that seemed to be on the plateau were also stopped in the garden tree, and it was Qing 々. It looked like an old building, but the cleaning was also well done. 1 point, the air conditioner smelled moldy, and when I looked at the outlet, the black mold closed badly, but it was comfortable in total.
The service is very thoughtful and kind.
The atmosphere decoration is very distinctive
Although many people share the bathroom, it feels very clean and tidy, and the price is not too much accounting.
The food is delicious, the portion is sufficient, and the price is fair.
Close to the bus station, basically nearby attractions can also be easily obtained by .
Having similar apartment booked with the same host for the trip. Frankly, overall experience is good, though this property is a little dusty. Hagi is not a city for shopping, also found it difficult for dining out though quite a number of restaurants around, most of them were fully booked on the day we stay. Have to drive 5 minutes for food around McDonald's and Lawson. It's still a great place to visit and stay at this property and
a property value for money!
Wide and comfortable. I used the nonta in the facility, but I think it's a very good idea because these izakaya corners can work without spending extra expenses.
It's a nice ryokan
The facilities are good and the scenery is so good
There is a good hot spring nearby
Breakfast is delicious too

Outstanding
GGuest UserGreat private open air onsen within your own little house. Service was impeccable. A little far from the station but walkable, within around 20 mins. Better to drive if able.
