This is a fantastic hostel! The beds are spacious, and in my four-person dorm, everyone was pretty quiet, with no long-term residents. The mattress, pillow, and duvet were all quite comfortable. The check-in service was excellent; staff members guide you to your room and introduce all the common areas. Overall, the cleanliness is good, with over a dozen stalls in the restroom and plenty of shower cubicles. It's about an eight to ten-minute walk from the subway station. Both A1 and A2 exits of Zhouwangcheng station work, but A1 has a downward escalator, which is convenient for your return trip, and it's right across the street from A2. Minor drawbacks: In the women's shower room at night, water tends to pool near the sinks, so you often accidentally step into a puddle. Also, the restroom might have some sewage odor coming up. And some people actually don't flush the toilet after using it – that's just rude! 😅

It felt like a dream, and in that dream, I made many friends. I returned to Luoyang for a second solo trip, thinking it would be uneventful without friends by my side. But perhaps fate intervened, and I stepped into Mo Wen. At Mo Wen, we came from all corners of the world, chatting about everything under the sun. We were all travelers on continuous journeys, but Mo Wen brought us together, allowing us a temporary pause. Though my journey has already resumed, as the uncle said: 'At Mo Wen, there's never a shortage of wine,' so our story will never truly end.

Facilities: As a combination of youth hostel and homestay facilities, it is everything, and it feels very comfortable to be at home. Hygienic: Hygiene is really clean. I woke up early in the morning and saw my aunt cleaning and changing the bedding. The bedding is also very comfortable with the high quality that has just been changed, and there is no discomfort during the stay. Environment: The environment is very beautiful, just like the name ”big city small courtyard”, there is such a relaxing place in Zhengzhou, a fast-paced provincial capital, quiet in the downtown, don't have your own flavor. Service: The boss sister is super good, patient and will bartending, chatting with her is very comfortable like her own big sister, coming here as if she is home, hehe, it is very careful to pay attention to your needs, help you integrate into this ”big family”. Atmosphere: Everyone came to share experiences and opinions from all over the world, and set off again from here. It is a station on the journey, and it is also a station for the soul. I opened the door and saw everyone sitting at the bar eating instant noodles and chatting. I thought I was home.

Great hostel that provided a great base to explore Kaifeng. It’s nice and central to the Drum Tower market. There are nice public spaces. The dorm bed was very wide and very comfortable. The staff in particular were super. They were friendly and so helpful. They even allowed me to check in much earlier than I was meant to according to their rules - how kind of them. When I left one of them gave me a souvenir of some Kaifeng chrysanthemum tea to take with me. What lovely staff!

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in! The front desk answered all my questions and was very friendly. It was clean and odorless, and the bed was comfortable so I could sleep until dawn! No one smoked in the eight-person room and they didn't bother each other. The two kittens were so cute. I love cats! I love cats! Cat yyds

The location is near the Xisi Night Market, a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. It's convenient for dining, and Qingyuan Garden is less than ten minutes away by electric scooter. The front desk lady was very friendly and even checked on a package I was sending. I only discovered my headlight was broken on my first day. The rooms are separated by floors, with the girls' bathrooms on the third floor. The three squat toilets, three sinks, and two showers are all located together, which is quite convenient, though the shower door is a bit dingy. Slippers and towels are in the disinfection cabinet. The important thing! The living room where the reception desk is located is incredibly noisy at night. It can last until 2 a.m. without warning. Even with earplugs, they're not soundproof, and even after the front desk lady reminded me, the noise was still there. According to reviews, during peak season, they organize groups to play games and cook. If you're not worried about the noise, this is a good option.

You can also get what you pay for

The traffic is still very convenient, and the boss's service attitude is also very good. The standard room I live in is very good, the environment is good, the price is high, suitable for business trips and travel for accommodation.

the hostel is located very near the subway and just a few stops from the railway station. there are restaurants and shops around. staff is helpful. the place is a little bit messy but ok for one-two nights. it feels safe. you can communicate with them on wechat and it's better to ask information about the floor and apartment number of the hostel (and pass code) beforehand, so you don't have to call them when you get there, since it's located inside a building. I feel if is better organized it can be a great hostel.
