DDuntiechongyijiaqinThe environment is fantastic, especially the location. It's incredibly close to Fuzimiao, right next to the Fuzimiao Grand Market. Getting to Laomendong, the Fuzimiao Qinhuai Scenic Belt, Jiangnan Gongyuan, or Bailuzhou Park is super convenient – all within a 10-minute bike ride. The atmosphere here is also excellent with plenty of public areas (and charging points!). I didn't take photos of the rooms, focusing mainly on the public spaces, which include a dedicated drying area. Plus, there's an elevator and shared showers and restrooms.

GGuest UserThis hostel offers a really great experience. First off, its location right next to Xinjiekou is super convenient for getting back after sightseeing. The privacy is excellent; each bed has a thick blackout curtain, so when you pull it shut, it's your own little private space. Secondly, the cleanliness is top-notch. Aunties clean every day, and if you extend your stay, you can even ask them to change your sheets and towels, which is really nice. Thirdly, I felt incredibly safe! There are separate floors for men and women, so there's no need to worry about any awkward situations. I'll definitely be back!

SSugelanheimianyangHaving stayed in over ten hostels in Nanjing due to frequent visits, this one stands out for its meticulous attention to detail. Beyond the common concern of noise in hostels, my biggest fear, yet frequent encounter, in all-female hostels is long queues for the bathroom, especially for showering and hair drying. This hostel has brilliantly solved these issues. The washing, toilet, and showering areas are separate from the sleeping quarters. There are ample makeup stations, sinks, toilets, showers, hair dryers, washing machines, and dryers, so you never feel restricted. The common area features flower tea and coffee vending machines, a fridge, and a microwave. Sinks are stocked with paper towels and paper cups. Toilets (both squat and Western-style) always have plenty of toilet paper and even disinfectant. Showers have hooks and shelves, and they even provide clips to remove hair from drains to prevent blockages – a thoughtful touch! The hair-drying area is separate and has time restrictions at night (it also offers combs, hair ties, etc., and I particularly love how the comb's thick handle fits perfectly into a small holder without falling). In short, every aspect is ingenious; the owner has thought of every design and gadget imaginable, and even those I wouldn't have. The place is also very clean and tidy, and guests are generally very considerate. The location, needless to say, is extremely convenient. It's an all-female hostel worth revisiting. [My only minor complaints are that the mattress is a bit firm, and while it's acceptable, many hostels nowadays provide pre-made beds with sheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases, so it would be even better if guests didn't have to put them on themselves.]

GGuest UserHostel is easy to find! Excellent location, metro very near, nice quiet street (and rooms are quiet too), loads of eating places right at door, and easy walk to the main tourist areas. Good light in the large ground floor common area (rear area has better AC).  Some kind of cafe setup but didn't seem to operate. dorm beds with curtain, light , international power outlet , aircon , locker safe for each bed; shower and toilet in dorm. This hostel is good, and can run a lot better with standard procedures/info, and some key signs in english. I don't expect staff to speak english (just as I can't speak chinese) but a laminated 1 page sheet in english could readily cover everything, instead of little info and then some gesturing: the different wifi networks, checkout steps, what is the deal with the cafe/fridge, how to exit door before desk is staffed in morning. For example, in the laundry the english sign was really useful, and told me that there was a drying space outside 1 of the windows. fire safety is poor: on each floor the stair doors are open (without auto release) meaning that fire smoke would rise uncontrolled and block escape path.

AAnonymous UserI stayed here on my first night in Nanjing, and it's super convenient being close to Xinjiekou. The hostel itself is quite spacious. However, it was a bit noisy at night with people coming in sporadically and quietly chatting until 1 or 2 AM. Also, other guests' luggage was piled up so much that I almost couldn't get out of bed. There weren't enough showers, so I had to wait in line. Other than that, the staff were really friendly and helpful.

GGuest UserThis place is truly amazing! It was my first time staying in a hostel, and it felt like being back in college. The cleanliness was outstanding; there was practically no dirt anywhere. The facilities were also very new. I really liked that you had to change into slippers when you entered, and most areas were carpeted. They had a study room, a vanity room, and showers. The signage and instructions were excellent too. Since the entrance is all stairs, they even help with luggage, so ladies don't have to worry about carrying heavy suitcases – service is top-notch! They have self-service washing machines and dryers, and there are time limits to ensure everyone gets a good night's rest and isn't disturbed by noise. The hair dryers also have a timer and automatically shut off, but you can ask the front desk for one if you need it longer – it's all designed to be considerate of other guests. Washing clothes is straightforward with different modes, and the dryer is timed. It's great value for money, especially if you save up laundry to do it all at once (you can also handwash in the shower area). If you're particular about hangers, I suggest bringing your own, or just using the dryer (though I wouldn't recommend drying bras with underwire as they might deform from the heat). Overall, my first great impression of Suzhou came from this hostel – it was super! I forgot to take pictures, so I've attached a tourist photo instead. It's very close to the subway station, about a 5-8 minute walk, and there are bus stops nearby. (If your suitcase is overweight, I don't recommend using Exit 9. Exit 4 has an accessible elevator to the street, though it's a bit further than Exit 9. Exit 9 has an incredible number of stairs, which I almost died trying to climb!). The locals are also incredibly warm and helpful. They often offer great advice without being asked; for example, when my friend and I were chatting, they'd proactively offer recommendations. When I was sighing at the stairs at Exit 9, a woman even told me there were many more stairs ahead and suggested I use a different exit. The local people here are truly wonderful!

GGuest UserQuite a good place to stay the first few days, the lady there gave me a banana and free breakfast on the first day as I usually leave the place early. However, the last night there was absolutely horrendous. I am not sure who was smoking in the public space and there was a nauseating strong smell of smoke all over the place, if you leave your room door open the smell will be in your room too. I had to quickly go to the toilet if not the smell would be on my clothes. If it was not late at night, I would have found myself another place to stay. I think there can be stricter control on no smoking in an enclosed space like hostel, this person is extremely inconsiderate. He/she can go outside to smoke instead. The female toilet sink was also so rusty and they should fix it. A good thing is they provide shampoo and body wash. To me it is just a place to wash up and sleep, is acceptable for budget solo travellers but I will not stay here again due to the bad experience with the smoke.

GGuest UserThis hostel is really great! The front desk staff are super friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. The facilities are comprehensive and top-notch. They have separate areas for men and women, a spacious common area, a study room, and even a makeup room. It's very quiet and conveniently located near tourist attractions and the subway. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends. Honestly, it's one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in.

HHadiaaaI loved the location...everything was so walkable. The owner was nice, friendly and we even chatted she suggested me places to visit... However, I went around the new year the prices were high which makes sense. But overall, the stay was fine. I didn't like that one chinese girl apparently who were working or something and was trying to be bossy. Also, they have such a cuteeee dog. ❤️😩
