One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The atmosphere was great, the beds were huge, and everything was super clean. Downstairs, there's even a cafe selling local specialties and cultural products, which was convenient for picking up souvenirs when I left. The staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, were incredibly warm and helpful. I'll definitely be back!

It is a good hostel but there is a lot of smokers so the smell is pretty inconvenient in the common areas. It was a walkable distance from the Russian Street and also close from the ocean. The rooms are good with good beds and AC. There is not much space to put your stuff away but goof enough for short stays.

The single room I booked was arranged by the clerk in the innermost room, which was a little quieter. And I came on a weekday, so there were not many people and it was not particularly noisy.
The interior looked really clean at first glance, and the environment of the bathroom and shower room was also good. According to the youth hostels I stayed in before, the environment of this one is really good.
The transportation is also very convenient. The Huaiyuanmen subway station is not far away on the left, and the Forbidden City is on the right. If you want to play near the Forbidden City Middle Street, it’s no problem to stay here~

Great hostel, great bar, great experience ! The hostel itself is very clean due to the lovely cleaning lady. It has a small kitchen and washing machine which is super useful. The bar has a good atmosphere with some nice craft beer too, as well as some events on certain nights.
Oh and the cute cats make the hostel that much better!!!

The first time I came to Shenyang, I was actually attracted by the low price. As the last stop of the trip, I was really empty hahaha, but I didn't expect it! ! The environment is super good, there is a 24h front desk, it is Shenyang at around one o'clock in the evening, the staff is particularly good and come downstairs to pick me up! There is an access control at the door, and the elevator must also be swiped, which is very safe. The laundry detergent for washing clothes is very fragrant and convenient. There is a large space for drying clothes. It is very clean from the bathroom to the room to the lobby. The atmosphere is also very good. I checked out at noon today and stored my luggage. I was still talking to everyone at night to go to Tieling for a day. Haha, I was a little reluctant. I hope to see you in Shenyang next time. If a friend comes here to play, it will be recommended!

The room is very good, clean and hygienic, accompanied by tables and chairs, and electric blankets on the bed! Hygiene and quiet, the whole is very comfortable, the owner is also very enthusiastic, the store provides hot drinks, the bath is also separated from the bathroom, does not affect each other, the overall feeling is very good, recommended, looking forward to the next encounter

The lack of windows made it stuffy, and it was very hot in the summer without air conditioning.
However, the price is very reasonable and the location is great, making it a great place to stay for a night or two in the spring or fall.
The shower room was spacious and had good water pressure, making showering comfortable.
However, in the summer, perhaps because of the heat, some guests would leave the door open while they were resting, and it was very uncomfortable to see them without their tops on every time they went to the bathroom.
I wouldn't recommend this place for a repeat visit.
Overall it was great, the house was simple, there was no air conditioning, but there were fans inside so it was cool. There was a separate sink and table and chairs. The location was good, not too close to any scenic spot, more like a central location. The boss was also very polite and kind. (It is worth noting that you should be careful not to bump your head when sitting on the chair)

Facilities: The single room was a good size, and there was plenty of space for luggage. The bed was a bit small for someone around 1.8m (5'11”). There was a desk for putting things down and working, and a shelf for small items.
Hygiene: The hygiene was excellent. Disposable toilet seat covers, towels, toothbrushes, and earplugs were all provided. Both restrooms were quite clean. Each guest received a new set of bedding. It's a pity the slippers weren't disposable.
Service: Excellent. The owner was very welcoming and recommended many great local eateries. They even provided local snacks during my stay. On my first day, they had an urgent matter but rushed back to clean the room's floor – it seemed like a lot of effort for them.
Environment: It's relatively close to nearby attractions and accessible by bike. The living room has a TV with a subscription to a certain streaming service.

This is the first hotel I stayed in that has a hostel feel, rather than a cheap rental house or a fancy capsule hotel. The service and facilities are worth the price. Some of the shortcomings that are not as good as those of a star hotel (average sound insulation, light-transmitting curtains, slow draining of the floor drain) can be overcome (earplugs and eye masks take longer to wash), or in other words, they are not a problem at the cost of 64 per day. There is a Lawson nearby (open 24 hours), the nearest subway station is Xianggong Street, and there is a McDonald's to the south. Take the subway for 2 stops to Roosevelt Square, which is convenient for eating and shopping. The front desk is open from 7:30 to 23:00. The boss is a nice person and has three cats (Mocha, Xiaojiu and Erhei).

GGuest UserI regret to say I didn't stay. Difficulties arranging travel, and a change of plan due to bad weather prevented my visit.
Was disappointed that hotel wouldn't honour cancelation refund a few days in advance as most other hotels do, because I do plan to visit Yongling, Henggan at some point.
SSimpleConvincerThe staff waited for me to arrive because my flight arrived at 11:15 pm and I arrived at the capsule hotel at 12:15 am. The temperature of the capsule rooms were just right.
I love the free access to the bathhouse. The bathing facility is really clean and well maintained.
I regretted not getting body scrub and massage and I should have explored the capsule hotel more. I think there is also a restaurant in the higher floors.
Just take note that the bathing facility is open from 8 am to 12 am only.
The subway station is near as well. As a foreigner who cannot speak nor read Chinese, I am very happy that there’s a McDonalds nearby. There are also nearby marts and Chinese franchise restaurants. My stay was very short so I wasn’t able to discover the other restaurants nearby.
I would definitely book here again and I love the keychain that they gave me.
The staff were really kind.
There were some minor difficulties, such as difficulty of finding electric sockets and inside the capsule, the port was a USB A socket, but there was a phone charging station outside the rooms.
SSimpleConvincerI had a nice time in Lazy Bill's Hostel. The check-in counter staff were very patient even though we were communicating via a Translation app and even though I don't have a local number from a Chinese mobile network. Also, the coffee shop was located just inside the hostel and it was very convenient! The coffee was delicious. The staff were very serious when it comes to cleanliness. They cleaned the room where I stayed and they mop the room and clean the rest room every day. I could not say anything more. Will I stay here again? Definitely yes! They have a mini-convenience store inside the hostel for booze, juices and water. There were restaurants and bath houses in the area. There was also a nearby KFC! The only thing that had me worried was on my way back home because the station didn't have an escalator going down.
I met a Chinese traveler of Korean descent and a local Chinese who speaks English. They were very kind.
I wish to come back to Dalian and stay in Lazy Bill's Hostel once again.

Outstanding
GGuest UserAfter booking, I lived very happily. I added another night. The room was large, the decoration was particularly luxurious, very different tunes. There were beautiful oil paintings and huge embroidery everywhere in the corridor. It was not inferior printing. The proprietress said that some rooms are luxurious jade beds, and each room is equipped with 7, 80 inch oversized network TV, even electric mattresses in the room! It's so sweet! It also provides a disposable toilet cover, and I saw someone check out. The boss immediately removed the sheets and changed them. I felt that I really did a guest wash. I lived in a very safe place. Hygiene, luxury, quality are guaranteed. Her home is really beautiful everywhere. Details can be found

CChenjiheiyeI have stayed in too many youth hostels, but this is one of the few true ”youth hostels”. A large number of young travelers gather here, playing guitar, chatting, singing, and drinking. The atmosphere is lively and lingers until late at night. Although it is the first time I have met, I feel... It's like meeting again after a long absence. The hotel regularly holds barbecues, group tours and other activities, which adds a lot of fun to the trip. There are also two particularly cute cats in the hotel, which is a different kind of fun.
Both the boss and the landlady are very straightforward and treat people with sincerity and enthusiasm. The landlady is even more generous and capable, taking good care of every guest. Many residents have stayed here for several months and often promise to come back next time when they leave, making this place feel a little more ”home”.
It's not just a place to stay, it's a unique experience, full of warmth and human touch. I miss it so much every time I think about it and highly recommend it to anyone traveling.
