GGuest UserWe absolutely loved our stay at The Cobb Arms. From the minute we got there the staff were welcoming and hospitable. They couldn't do enough for us. If we had questions they answered them and gave us as much help as they could, from giving us extra tea bags and sugar to serving up a lovely English Breakfast with beautiful Lattes. Special shout out to Luke who just was pleasant in every way and nothing was too much trouble for him to help us. All in all, a fantastic stay with amazing staff, beautiful decor and rooms, lovely hot bath and shower. Thank you so much for making my partners 60th birthday weekend one to remember!
GGuest UserAccommodation was nice. Clean but in need of a little maintenance. Brilliant car park, lots of spaces. Arrived on a Sunday and was told that food was only available until 6pm and bar closed at 9pm, not a problem as we were tired and hungry from the journey. Decided to eat out on Monday and Tuesday and have a drink in the bar when we return however the bar closed at 9pm both oevening’s which was very disappointing.
IIt’s Me AntoGreat place where to stay. The breakfast was alright. The room was clean though quite a few spider webs by the ceiling window. The pole that we had in the room to open the window was not easy to use and I think was faulty, I’d advise to replace it.
Overall a good stay. The location is good too. A lovely garden which we were lucky enough (due to the good weather) able to use.
GGuest UserFantastic accommodation very comfortable bed shower was lovely pubs fantastic you must have the vegan curry!!!!!!…. Beer prices were very reasonable…. Would definitely recommend this place and the staff were lovely.
GGuest UserSijainti vähän etäällä kaikesta (tosin en osannut määrittää tarkemminkaan minne haluan) mutta ajoi asiansa hyvin! Kiva englantilainen aamupala aamulla sai seuraavan päivän käyntiin 😊
CCSG10The bath-tub placement is interesting to say the least. It’s right in front of the bed with no shower curtain. Did not really bother us but had to be careful not to make a mess.
GGuest UserI had the pleasure of staying here in October 2020. John and Christine did everything possible to keep us all safe from Covid but still maintained a house party atmosphere. The rooms may not be modern but they are spotlessly clean and the food was lovely and there was plenty of it. Our tutor was Sharon Hurst who was fun and inspiring and ensured everyone had a great time. I will definitely visit again
GGuest UserThe rooms of this hotel are clean and tidy, the hotel staff are warm and friendly, the service is meticulous and patient, and it helps me solve many problems. Although the hotel is not in the center of Dorchester, the surrounding facilities are relatively complete and parking is very convenient.
