GGuest UserExcellent little spot by the beach, in our opinion this end of the beach was much nicer than the main Dikwella bay. Clean, calm and quiet - everything you could ask for. The hotel has private sun loungers which are always empty and available. The hotel food is great, the pizza is cheap and absolutely amazing. We tried surf lessons with an excellent surf school next door which was great fun. The rooms are basic, but comfortable and clean - totally fine. Hiriketiya is just 5 minutes down the road in a Tuk Tuk and to be honest this beachfront is much nicer than Hiriketiya which we found busy, touristy and dirty - but there are some great cafes, shops and restaurants to head over for in the evening or morning. Casa Smeralda staff were helpful and attentive - they always went above and beyond to be helpful and kind. Overall, I would highly recommend this stay to anyone who wants a peaceful, calm beach hotel to relax in! Side note: delivery apps did not work to this location but there are plenty of local restaurants to walk to.

辻辻モナカI stayed in a double room. It felt like a private lodging, the room was spacious, and the toilet and shower were simply separated. It also had the strongest hot water pressure of any accommodation I stayed in in Sri Lanka, which was great. There was a cooking space and washing machine on the other side of the room, which was convenient. (The washing machine cost 500 rupees to use.) It was also close to the beach, with plenty of supermarkets and restaurants, so it was a very convenient accommodation. I think this is probably the best place to stay cheaply in Galle. The amenities were minimal (shampoo and body soap).

GGuest UserWe spent a night in this hotel and overall it was all right. However, we have a few things to defect: 2 of 3 beds in the room, had clearly visible points. The shower was very calcified. Otherwise the room was all right, the equipment is visible for a few years, but can keep with modern standards. The pool is large and clean, but there is only one bed. Due to the low cost of the hotel during our stay, we felt that the service was overambitious, which partly disturbed. In summary, this hotel is a good opportunity for a few nights. It has a good location and is additionally indoored.

GGuest UserWe stayed in both the shared room and then private room with outside shower. Both were very clean, the service was good and location quite convenient.
