There was a lady with redish hair no glasses checking guest in and out whom assisted me in both. She was lovely. I was in distress as I lost my dad’s thermal winter beanie hat at check out and she helped me locate it. Its one of the few items I have left of my dad. I am so grateful she went with me  offered to take me back to my room to look as we found it in the hallway floor. She was working Monday January 12.

It was a generally good stay, with nice amenities and a spacious room. There was one issue that came up: the Trip.com website stated that the room would be on the 27th floor. However, when checking in, the reception at the Encore hotel said the highest they could give me was the 17th floor, 10 floors below what was promised, even though I showed them my reservation detailing that reserved room was on the 27th floor. A second issue to be aware: this establishment that calls itself a ”resort hotel” does not have a mini-fridge in the room. One can rent one for $40/night, which is a bit mind-boggling. The only fridge in the room is dedicated for the mini-bar. However, one cannot use that fridge because any movement of items in it would incur a charge since the sensor system, which tracks each bottle, would trigger a charge to the room. This meant I could not place my perishable item in the mini-bar fridge by shifting the alcoholic bottles to make space for my perishable items. Otherwise, this was overall a pleasant stay.

The room is smaller compared to a standard hotel room, but there is definitely enough space to fit a small private bathroom. The shared bathroom is really the only downside. Also, be aware — even though the description says “bath down the hall,” you don’t need to go all the way down to the lobby to find it. There are bathrooms on every floor. Unfortunately, the receptionist didn’t inform us, so at first we went downstairs like clueless tourists searching for it…

I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Boston Crosstown Center for four nights during a business trip, and had a great experience. The location is convenient, with easy access to downtown and public transportation. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable—perfect for getting work done and resting after long days. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. Overall, a reliable and comfortable stay for business travelers. I’d definitely return on future trips to Boston.

Considering the price, this place offers great value for money in Boston. They serve warm, complimentary cookies daily, and you can easily get slippers, bottled water, and toothbrushes from the front desk if you need them. The location is excellent, with several attractions nearby. The JFK Museum was a highlight. We happened to visit during a Community Night and enjoyed a wonderful performance by the International String Trio (tip: they had another event scheduled for the 20th from 5:30 PM - 8 PM, so check their calendar!). Carson Beach is worth a quick visit, but be aware that it's quite pebbly. A Star Market is only a 7-minute walk away, where you can buy lobsters and have them steamed on the spot. Both the airport and downtown are a relatively short taxi ride away. Thanks to Ctrip's assistance, my overall experience was greatly enhanced.

Is an old hotel with full of character. Lift is a mixed of modern and old. It is well situated, across the road is a huge supermarket. Amtrak train station is just 5 mins walk away. Room is a little small and the Aircon cannot be controlled. Shower water pressure is good. Best thing I like is a big kitchen with microwave and coffee machine. Even a 5 star hotel do not have this. Checked in and out is super easy. Overall I like this hotel.

It's in Brookline, with lots of great food nearby and convenient access to the Green Line. However, the room itself felt incredibly claustrophobic. There was no exterior window, and you had to navigate a long, dim corridor, past a bunch of black railings, just to get to the room. It honestly felt like a prison cell. The window couldn't be opened, and it faced another room's window, so ventilation wasn't good either. Overall, the cleanliness was fine. They offer trolley rentals, which is handy for moving during the start of the school year. There's also a simple, free breakfast provided and a small convenience store.
