The least to say is that this hotel has known better days ... very long ago! The rooms are gloomy lit, furniture and curtains outaged, floorcarpet with numerous dirty spots, bathroom is extremely basic and the worst is the heating: I arrived in the room at 6 p.m. and the heating was off, temperature was probably around 15 or 16° - only after a couple of hours it was better, but though put on maximum, I hardly could get more than 18° during the night. Breakfast, for 23€, was spartan; scrambled eggs and bacon were cold.

Wow -- since the amazing renovations the place is spectacular. I've been to this hotel countless times and it seems to improve each year. So many of the staff have been with them for many years, and they couldn't be better, right down to the lovely Julie in housekeeping. This hotel offers so many amenities, it's so visually beautiful, the service is exceptional and I can't wait to return very soon! The location can't be beat, with gorgeous views of the park and walking distance to all the major attractions.

Basic, very unimpressive stay, we arrived late and had a family room. A double + single for my teenage child. They must have given us the worst room in the hotel. The room was dark and dingy, window opened up to a brick wall not far away, and the single bed was placed in a tiny room not much bigger than the single bed. Very claustrophobic. In fact could have been used as a cupboard. My suggestion is to open up the room and remove the wall and move everything around. My child slept with me in the bed. I would not have expected her to sleep in that tiny boxed up area. It just did not feel nice. So all 3 of us slept in the double bed. We didn't have any spare pillows when I requested spares. We didn't have a shower gel either, and the bath towels were so small they didn't even wrap around you I was pretty disappointed and requested to be moved. They moved us the next day. The room had a double bed and a sofa bed. Well, I don't know which was worse. That sofa bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor. The breakfast was limited. They best day was Sunday, and we noticed each day that we had less on the buffet as the days went on. The cornflakes were stale. The pancakes miserable. No hot items other than eggs and beans. Just very basic. We chose this hotel because of the parking. However, because we had a big car, we were told it would not fit in the car park. Therefore, the only good thing that was good about this hotel was the location which is close to shops and restaurants and the train station. I did speak to the reception manager the next day and stated my points. She was polite and helpful. Took my points on board. However, I'm not sure if anything will be done about it! For a 4 star hotel and the money we paid per night I would expect more! I don't think I would come back again.

The hotel is located 5 mins walk from Central Station (down the side, not towards the front), so great when arriving by train. Easy to walk to the main parts of town. Check in was at a couple of tables to the left of the entrance. Had a clean twin room and even after we pushed the 2 beds apart properly, there was plenty of space. Large bathroom with plenty of space around and under the sink for personal toiletries, although nice hotel toiletries (hand wash, moisturizer, shampoo and conditioner) were supplied. For some reason we had 2 shampoos in the walk in shower and when we told housekeeping when going out and asked for shower gel, we were left with another shampoo. This was not an issue though as we'd brought our own stuff so just used that instead. Complimentary bottle of still water provided every day which was nice, although the tap water is perfectly clean and drinkable. Flavoured (fresh mint or fruit) water, apples and gummies provided on a table near the entrance/exit, which was a nice touch. Staff very friendly and helpful. We didn't have the breakfast at the hotel as there are so many other options nearby in the town and our main reason for going to Antwerp was to eat locally.

We have reserved this hotel using a Bongo check and we have been pleasantly surprised by this new hotel, very conveniently located within a few hundred metres from the Central Train Station in Antwerp, that provides for everything a traveller needs in terms of accommodation and is at the top of technology as it states: it's connected. The staff is very nice and helpful and we really had a great stay. I warmly recommand it. And, as a little bonus, they are very accommodating when it comes to the four paw members of our families.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a weekend getaway with friends. The check-in process was a bit long due to an issue with the visibility of my advance payment made the day prior. However, once this was resolved, we were treated to complimentary refreshment drinks in the check-in area, which were most enjoyable. The lounge and bar boasted a modern, chic design. Before booking this hotel I had read some reviews mentioning the loud music in the lift. This was no longer the case. I was a bit disappointed to find that DJ's were only present at the bar on Fridays. I did not have breafkast during my stay, I may reconsider on my next visit. The room was ultra clean, the bed was super comfortable. The overall experience was positive, and I look forward to my return.

I had a very negative experience with the front desk staff that checked me in this past week. My husband and I booked a stay at this hotel back in April for 4 nights. They sent me an email stating that they weren't able to charge my credit card on the reservation, which made sense because we had forgotten we had just received a new card to replace the expired one. They asked that I look at my account, so they can charge a new card. If I failed to do that in 24 hours, then my booking would be cancelled. Approx 13 hours of receiving that email, I went in and updated the credit card information on the account and sent them an email confirming I did so. When I arrived at this hotel to check in a month later (which was this past week), the front desk staff told me that the reservation was cancelled. I showed them the email that they sent me and the one I had sent to them. I also showed them my original reservation number. They looked into it for a while, but they told me that ultimately the reservation was cancelled so they can't do anything. They were also all booked up on one of the four nights we were supposed to stay there, so they could only check us in for 2 nights (Thurs-Fri). Up to this point, I was confused but I wasn't upset. I understand things can happen, and I was eager to work this out. However, what really pushed me over the edge was the fact that the front desk staff showed no empathy for the situation I was in. I told them that I never received any email that my reservation was cancelled. I even asked if there were any other alternative hotels, as we were traveling from outside the country and did not know the area well. The staff person I was talking to responded with very little attempt at professionalism, and instead told me that we should solve this ”later” as I was holding up the line. I believe her words were along the lines of, ”you should turn around, look at the line.” When I asked her when ”later” would be, she let out a small laugh which was a very confusing response to what I thought was a valid question. This is when I was starting to feel incredulous. I wanted her assistance, but I got rudeness and condescension in return. I tried my best not to raise my voice even though I was getting frustrated, and I told her that I felt I was getting penalized for something that wasn't my fault. Still, there was no attempt to help me with the situation, and I felt like I was being waved away. At the very end of our interaction, the staff person told me that if there is a room that opens up on Sat they would contact me to let me know. I asked how they would contact me on updates (would it be through the hotel phone? My international number? Call, email, or text?) and I received a very frustrated look and a sigh in return, not a helpful response. I am still unsure why she acted this way, when I genuinely wanted to understand how I would be contacted. (And they never actually contacted me... even to tell me they were still all boo

TTrek49689435881If you want staff to do absolutely nothing about someone breaking into your room then this is the hotel for you. I was staying here with my friend in a room on the second floor. Someone tried to break into our room by kicking our door three times. We couldn't reach reception by phone call, I tried texting reception. They messaged us on Whatsapp to not worry and that we are safe even though a person kept trying to break in. They didn't try coming down to our room to check if we were okay. Didn't care about our safety. We then had to call the police and they were taking a long time to get there so we called again only to be told by the 112 operator that the staff weren't letting the police into the hotel. Finally they were let in after our door was being kicked at for an hour. The police were useless since they didn't even check if the area was safe before telling us to just sleep and enjoy our holiday. We wanted to see CCTV footage because there was a camera in our corridor. We went to reception, and a member of staff told us that he had the cctv ready for us because he guessed that we would want to see it. He showed us the recording of the corridor and told us ”see there's no one in front of your door”. But my friend and I noticed that the time stamp was covered by a black rectangle but you can see a bit of the number underneath it. The bottom of the digits could still be seen and clearly read 2 am and not 1 am which is when the incident occurred. When we told him that this is live footage and that we want to see the recording of the 1 am incident, he kept telling us ”no there's no one in front of the door” until he finally admitted to us that this was live footage and that he needs the manager to access the 1 am footage. This seemed sketchy. Why the need to lie about it? We stayed at reception as we were too scared to go back to our room. At around 3 am we decided to try going back. After being in the room for just 10 minutes, someone tried to break down our door again. This time the 112 operator hung up on us and we didn't try calling reception since they proved to be useless. At 3:50am I called a girl from our University course who was on the same floor. She luckily found no one at the door and so we ran down to reception. We stayed at reception all night and didn't sleep. Staff were no help apart from that same staff member offering us ”very stiff alcoholic drinks to help us relax”, that's how he put it, we of course refused but he kept coming back and offering us drinks despite us saying no repeatedly. At around 8 am I saw our lecturer from our course at reception so we went with him to see the cctv footage. At first the manager said that she can't show it to us. When our lecturer said that we'll go to the police then she changed her answer. Before even showing the footage she said ”I looked through the footage earlier and saw that it was a door nearby making the noise because it kept being opened and closed”. We insisted to see the CCTV s
世世界流浪The house is big and the price is right. It is very close to the flixbus station, the train station and the city center. The front desk downstairs can store luggage for free, which is very convenient. It is quite good to play for a morning and then go to other destinations
I thought hard about giving this hotel a 3, but on balance think it is fair. In many respects it could score 4 but crucially the sound proofing and specifically the flooring to the bedrooms is inadequate. We were kept awake an hour the first night until the night receptionist kindly called the room above after midnight to ask them to remove their footwear / stop pacing. The second night closing doors above woke us briefly but then the third night there were comings and goings on our floor between several rooms around 3am for 45 mins and we heard it all. Hopefully the hotel will consider doing further works to mitigate this for future guests. Otherwise we found the hotel / bed comfortable, the mostly continental breakfast was fine (fresh juices, fruit, cereals, breads, meat / cheese & pastries) and the bar food did the job on the last night. Its a 25 min walk into the interesting / lively old town where we spent most of our trip, but reception will call you a taxi that costs around 15 Euros if that is too far or it is raining. MAS is worth a visit including the view from the top.
Hotel was clean and comfortable, and only a 1/2hr walk from city centre. Night clerk Berkay went above and beyond with late night service, ordering pizza when all local restaurants closed after late return from nearby event. Life saver!
We (couple) took an apartment with separated room, and it was roomy and very quiet. Everything was clean, and almost as important, new (2023). I asked in my reservation for a second duvet for the bed, as my better half is a duvet-hogger, and it was there when we arrived. It was a double width too, so we ended up with lots of duvet on the bed, but as the bed was wide enough, that was no problem. The pillows where a bit high for our taste. There were three to choose, and the thinnest one was just on the line for us, but we slept all right. Bed is confy, with that ”thick mattress with thin mattress on top” concept. Movement from one side to the other travels more that in a full viscoelastic mattress, but less than in a spring one, so it was ok for us. The hotel has two buildings, connected by a first-floor gangway with apartments on the sides. We got an apartment, the number 111, that was in that connection, and it was really quiet, the windows looking to some inside court, rather wide, and I think no neighbouring apartments at all. We went at the time of some big festival in Antwerp, and we heard nothing either from outside or from the neighbours. Only drawback of this particular room is that the bathroom is adapted for wheelchairs, so the shower is covered by just a curtain and with a couple of supports that restrict movement a bit, but that was a minor inconvenience for us. On the plus side, the bathroom was really big. We liked the decoration, and the lighting possibilities too. The oven is a combination microwave-grill, and was clean too, as I say, everything is rather new so that can change with time. All in all, a very good experience.
AAndhy PutraHighly recommended for those who want to have a good access to the city centre of Antwerp. The WiFi is great and well connected. The room is very comfortable and clean too. Easy access to the public transport system and restaurants. The convenience store is located on the next door. Enjoyed staying at this hotel.
Mmi youngParking is a public parking lot, so you can't leave once you park. It costs 20 euros for 24 hours, and you have to pay the difference every time you leave after parking. It costs 4-5 euros per hour. There are commercial facilities, supermarkets, pharmacies, shopping malls, burger shops, and other restaurants within 200-400m walking distance, so it's convenient. The hotel was very comfortable, spacious, and clean.
JJack_WTLocation out of the city, so not OK if you want to be in the center (not easy by public transport), If you have a car and you want an easy place to access from the ring, then location is perfect.
Only minus for me was the Wi-Fi. You have to chose between Free and paying Wi-Fi, but the free Wi-Fi was not even enough to reply my e-mails... Feels a bit like false advertising to say Wi-Fi is included.
JJoyce216It's very close to Antwerp Central Station, and it's very convenient to walk to various attractions. There is no kettle in the room, so I asked for one at the front desk. The room is bigger than what I have lived in in other cities, and the price is right
MMete ArslanGood location, near the central train station and close to restaurants and pubs.
Breakfast was decent. The room was ok.
The airconditioning didn’t work and it was pretty humid and warm at night.
I reserved a room for myself and a friend one month in advance for an event in Antwerp Sportpaleis. When we arrived at the hotel, we discovered it was not twin separate beds.
The receptionist was rude and wasn’t helpful to change the room to separate twin beds. He made us wait until 1:30 AM in the morning to change into a twin bed room instead of one queen size bed.
Please be more flexible and customer first minded.
