Good: Property looked nice on the outside and we felt safe. Front desk was competent and friendly. Bed was comfortable. No bad smells. The pool looked OK, but it was late so we didn't use it. Bad: There was a huge wet spot on the floor due to condensation from the A/C unit. Room was a little shabby (peeling paint, threadbare towels). That wasn't a problem in itself. But in the morning, we tried everything we could for 30 minutes to try to get hot water. It was ice cold the entire time so we left for the airport without a shower. The cold water ruined the stay. For nearly $200 I would have expected better.

2 night stay on August 12-14 during a weekend in Hollywood. Property is located just a couple of minutes from Burbank Airport. Like most airport hotels, the surrounding area is more industrial, but the property is nice with easy access to the freeway. Standard King room. Spacious, nicely redone. Comfortable bed, secured parking if you find a space in the gated courtyard. Standard free hotel breakfast included. Small pool was always in use when we were on property during pool hours. Nice fitness center as well. Just minutes from Warner Brothers Studios, and a quick trip to Hollywood. Once past the airport, beautiful older neighborhoods with small restaurants mixed in with the larger businesses. L.A. area hotels are not cheap, and we did reserve this based on the more budget-friendly (compared to actual Hollywood locations) rates. A solid choice for an area visit.

We booked this motel when visiting Universal Studio. We needed a parking lot, so to be safe we chose a hotel a little bit away from the Studio. We checked in around 8pm but we didn’t have any problem finding parking spots. There was Ralph supermarket 5 min drive distance where we got some cheap dinner and breakfast. But we found out that this motel provide simple breakfast: sweet bakery, oats, toasts, bagels, coffee, orange juice etc. This motel seemed old; you can tell from the look outside and inside the room. But at least the restroom was renovated with new flooring. It looked clean. Wifi was surprisingly worked very well from my room. There were microwave and fridge. No hair dryer though. Overall, we were agreeably surprised by the quality of the room for the relatively low price. We’d come back again and we’d recommend this motel.

Universal City
The location is fairly convenient, there are general food and drink around. But it is still a bit inconvenient without a car. The hotel is generally good, clean and well equipped. Free underground parking, spacious and bright. There is also a self-service laundry service. 1.5 dollars for washing clothes, 1.5 dollars for drying. About an hour and a half. Take a taxi to the Walk of Fame for about $10 and to Universal Studios Hollywood for $8. It only takes 20 minutes to drive. Breakfast is alright. Generally speaking, there is nothing wrong with the high prices. Similar to domestic all-season hotels

It is very cheap in the Los Angeles hotel. It is more convenient to go to Universal Studios in the north. The hotel is very noisy on the road. The outdoor air conditioning unit is also very noisy. Anyway, it is a noisy place, breakfast is OK, and it is quite satisfactory.
