Whenever I get into Cairns with family, there's no other place I'd rather stay then the Villa Vaucluse. It's safe, secure and rooms are comfortable, extra beds to cater for other's. The inside is like a tropical forest itself and gives me that peace of mind and tropical setting. Central location in the city and walking distance to all amenities, cinema, restaurants etc. Love the pool and BBQ area for outside entertainment. Looking forward to my next stay there.

Firstly, the place needs a CLEAN! it is disgusting and dirty. The dishes in the cupboards were dirty and needed to be cleaned before use. The bathroom had a layer of mould, that no amount of exit mould will fix. The pool area smelled and was full of leaf litter that was decomposing. I wouldn't allow my children to swim in it in fear of infections. Who knows when it was cleaned last? No pool furniture. The general facilities have been neglected and look nothing like the photos. The fridge wasn't working initially and the air con rattled. The light bulbs didn't work in all fittings and the beds were terrible. Only positive was the location. Manager non-existent and when requesting ice to keep food cold without fridge working provided the smallest quantity rather than a $4 bag. Do yourself a favour don't stay at these "luxury" villas

The bed was fantastic. Regrettably we had to move on after the first night because although the sixth try the internet wifi let us in, the following day we both had lots of zoom meetings, and as the landlord wasn't able to assist us to solve the problem we dared not risk the same problem again. So we just saw the money paid as a loss and found another place.
