This is definately not a 5 star hotel. I can’t understand how it’s been given that ranking. The room was definitely not the same as the picture. The carpet in the room was old and faded. The decor looked like it was from when it was first built or updated, at least 30+ years ago. The bathroom in the executive room was worse than Butlins basic accommodation in the U.K., and that’s saying something. The yellow sofa in the grand reception area was tired and dirty. I definitely would never stay there again or recommend to anybody.
The majority of the staff were unfriendly. The waiters in the dining room never even looked at you. We had to go to them to request tea and coffee with our breakfast and it seemed like it was too much trouble for them.
We stayed in the hotel as part of a fully inclusive cruise booking. The cruise company Iglu cruises must have got a really good deal with them. The hotel was full of people on fully inclusive deals.

A charming little boutique hotel with character
The hotel is not new or flashy, but it's very well maintained and clearly cared for. It's tucked away on a quiet side street in Plaka, yet it's easy to find and wonderfully located — just a short walk to Syntagma and all the main sights.
The rooms are pretty petite，(especially the lift)but tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable. Everything feels thoughtful and welcoming.

Excellent in every way!
The location is perfect - right next to the Acropolis Museum, 7mins from a subway, close to many great restaurants but still down a peaceful street not crowded with tour groups (though the busses do pass by).
The breakfast is hearty and flavourful. It fueled us till well into the afternoon.
The staff were all friendly and helpful.
And the rooftop restaurant has a view that few can match. If you want to have a relaxed yet romantic dinner this would be a great option. (but book in advance unless you just want a drink)
The jacuzzi on the 4th floor was a treat after a long day of walking.
It's worth noting that the cheaper rooms only have a window into the courtyard, so upgrade if you want the balcony looking onto the Acropolis. That said, the room was still very comfy with enough space for our two large suitcases - and there are places to get the view as mentioned above.

Matina is wonderful and just brings a smile to my face everytime I enter and exit the hotel. Elina was so kind to extend my checkout time despite the hotel being fully booked. Every day I ate my breakfast in the restaurant and the food is so nice. The room is clean every day, and they have different pool as well. All the people are so happy to meet you, from Babies to Popi, Mara ecc... They are so nice and special , and they will provide all the services for you.

We’ve just returned from a truly perfect 9-night stay at Katikies Santorini and already wish we were back. From start to finish, everything was faultless. Sofia and the entire team were absolutely brilliant – genuinely warm, attentive without ever being overbearing, and always going the extra mile to make our stay special.
The hotel itself is immaculate, beautifully kept, and the views are simply incredible – one of those places that really does live up to the photos (if not exceed them). Waking up to that caldera view each morning never got old. Breakfast was absolutely amazing - one the best!
We also found that most guests tend to stay just a night or two and move on quite quickly. Having spent nine nights here, I’d honestly recommend staying at least a week, if not longer, to properly take it all in. It’s one of those places that isn’t meant to be rushed – the pace, the views, the atmosphere all deserve a bit more time. Being among the few guests staying longer really allowed us to appreciate it fully, and it made the whole experience feel that much more special.

We only stayed one night to visit Delphi. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located about 5-mins drive (15-20 min walk) from the Delphi museum and archaeological site. We booked a junior suite to accommodate our family of four and got the only room on the fourth floor which the kids loved because you need a key to take the lift directly up to the room so it feels like a private lift. There was a balcony with a nice view of the town and the sea and mountains in the distance. Only downside is that because the toilet is a bit small but fits a bathtub by the window, there is no separate shower area and you have to use the bathtub to bathe. We were so happy and enjoyed our stay that we extended by an extra night, the hotel gave us a cheaper rate than we could find online and also upgraded our room (our original room was incredible) to a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony!!
