Best time to visit Greece

Planning a trip to Greece? For many, it's undoubtedly a paradise that boasts gorgeous beaches, ancient ruins, and mouthwatering cuisine. But when is the best time to go? That depends on what you’re looking for—perfect weather, cristal clear sea water, or a lively holiday vibe. Let’s dive deeper into everything you need to know about the palce, so we can make the most of your Greek adventure.

Best Weather to Visit Greece

Greece’s Mediterranean climate means there’s no bad time to visit! But certain seasons have their own distinctive charm. Let’s take a closer look at how each season presents itself:

Spring (April to June)

Spring in Greece feels like stepping into a postcard. The landscape bursts with vibrant wildflowers, the weather is mild, and the crowds are manageable. Temperatures hover between 60°F and 75°F, making it the ideal time to explore historical sites and enjoy outdoor activities without breaking a sweat.

If you’re in Athens, spring is the perfect season to explore the Acropolis and meander through the charming Plaka district. Stop for a coffee at a kafeneio, where you can soak in the atmosphere. Further afield, Delphi is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a serene backdrop for uncovering its mystical oracle site. In the Peloponnese region, vibrant fields of wildflowers add an extra layer of beauty to ancient wonders like Mycenae and Epidaurus.

Foodies will adore spring in Greece, too. Treat yourself to succulent spring lamb roasted with herbs, salads bursting with fresh artichokes and wild greens, and galaktoboureko, a luscious custard-filled dessert.

Summer (July to August)

Summer is Greece’s peak tourist season, and for good reason. With long sunny days and temperatures ranging from the 80s to 90s°F, it’s the ultimate beach season. That said, it’s also the busiest time of year, so early bookings are essential.

Head to Mykonos for its iconic party scene. Spend your days lounging on beaches like Psarou and Paradise Beach, and your nights dancing at some of the world’s top clubs. If relaxation is more your style, Santorini beckons with its breathtaking sunsets at Oia and its volcanic beaches like Red Beach. Don’t miss a wine-tasting tour at a local vineyard to savor unique volcanic wines.

Best time to visit Greece | Paradise Beach

Paradise Beach

Crete is another summer hotspot. Visit Balos Lagoon, where turquoise waters meet pink-hued sands, or Elafonissi Beach, a true paradise for sun-seekers. Adventurers will love hiking the dramatic Samaria Gorge, ending their trek with a refreshing swim in the Libyan Sea. Satisfy your taste buds with grilled octopus, dakos salad, and creamy frozen yogurt topped with honey and nuts.

Fall (September to October)

Fall might just be the best-kept secret of Greece. The weather remains warm, averaging between 70°F and 80°F, while the summer crowds have thinned out. It’s also grape harvest season, so wine lovers are in for a treat.

Rhodes shines in autumn. Wander through its medieval Old Town, explore the Palace of the Grand Master, or take a boat trip to nearby islands. Nafplio offers charming streets lined with bougainvillea, local tavernas serving hearty meals, and a hike up to Palamidi Fortress for sweeping views.

Milos, known for its surreal Sarakiniko Beach, is a photographer’s dream. Fall is also a great time to enjoy quiet beaches and delicious local cuisine. Sample freshly harvested grapes, figs, and spanakopita, a savory spinach pie that’s perfect for a quick snack.

Winter (November to March)

Think Greece isn’t a winter destination? Think again. While the islands quiet down, cities like Athens and Thessaloniki come alive with local charm. Daytime temperatures range from 40°F to 60°F, offering a cozy and authentic experience.

Athens in winter is perfect for museum hopping. Visit the National Archaeological Museum or the Benaki Museum to delve into Greece’s rich history. Kolonaki, a chic neighborhood, is great for boutique shopping and cozy cafés.

Best time to visit Greece | National Archaeological Museum
National Archaeological Museum: a must-see destination for anyone interested in ancient Greek art and history. The museum houses an extensive collection of archaeological finds, including stunning sculptures, pottery, and jewelry, as well as historical artifacts from the Bronze Age to the Ancient Roman period.

For a snowy escape, head to Zagorohoria in the Epirus region. These picturesque villages are perfect for hiking and enjoying the serene, snowy landscapes. Ski enthusiasts can hit the slopes at Kalavryta. Warm up with avgolemono soup, a comforting chicken and lemon dish, or stifado, a hearty beef and onion stew. Don’t forget to try loukoumades, syrupy Greek doughnuts that will sweeten any chilly day.

Best Time to Visit Popular Attractions in Greece

The Acropolis, Athens

Spring and fall are ideal for exploring the Acropolis without the crowds or scorching heat. The Parthenon, dedicated to Athena, is awe-inspiring, while the Erechtheion’s Caryatids captivate visitors with their elegance. For panoramic views of Athens, climb Areopagus Hill. After your visit, head to the Monastiraki Flea Market to browse for souvenirs or enjoy dinner at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the illuminated Acropolis.

Best time to visit Greece | Monastiraki Flea Market
Monastiraki Flea Market: The original intention of a flea market is to set up stalls to sell daily necessities that you don't need, but the Monastiraki flea market is more for tourists. Entering from an alley in Monastiraki Square, the first thing you see is a variety of clothing and handicrafts. You will see some stalls selling mostly Greek daily necessities.

Reception was very friendly during check-in and staff for breakfast was very nice. The facilities were alright for us. I'm not sure if it was just our room or the entire building but there was this constant ”smoke” smell during our stay that was very difficult to ignore in our room. They did offer us to change a room but after walking around the floor and lobby, might of been just a smell that was throughout the building. There was a used orange drink in our fridge which could of been easily missed by the maids but was a little concerning what else might of been missed. Again all minor issues that would not stop me from staying there again if needed.

First of all, the location of the hotel is very good, in the city center, and the main attractions can be reached by foot. The view of the restaurant on the top floor should be the best in Athens, and you can see the Acropolis and the Parthenon very clearly. The service is very poor, and it feels that they are not friendly to Chinese people.

This is an amazing hotel with an amazing staff. We were greeted and assisted with everything upon our arrival (check-in, bags, etc.) and everyone was very hospitable. The rooms are comfortable and are always clean. We did not use the rooftop pool, but the views were stunning from there (we could see the Acropolis), where they also have a restaurant and a bar. We ate at the restaurant and hung out at the bar some nights which was nice (good food and drinks), but be prepared to pay top hotel prices. The location of the hotel is convenient - it is right across from Syntagma Square, a popular meeting place for many scheduled activities. We also felt we could easily access surrounding neighborhoods, restaurants, and bars by walking from the hotel. Overall a great place to stay!

This is our 2nd stay at Electra Palace Hotel in Athens. Our experience, just like the first time, was not disappointing. All the staff at the hotel are extremely professional, and they didn't disappoint with the high quality of service rendered. We were particularly impressed at the check-in, which was done in less than 1 min. They just pulled up our details on their files, gave us the check-in paper to sign, and away we went to our room. We asked for the same room 324 that we stayed on our first visit, and they happily obliged us. I love the fact that the hotel pays attention to every little request from its customers. Thank you so much to everyone at Electra Palace, we will see you again in 2025 by God's Grace!🙏🏿

Koukaki Athens|1.83km from city center
I booked this hotel because it was very close to the Acropolis. When I arrived, I found that it was indeed very close, and it only took five minutes to walk there. There is nothing much to say about the hotel itself. The service attitude was very good, the room was very clean, and slippers and toiletries were provided. The bathroom was separated into dry and wet areas, and the countertops were all marble. The room was a bit small, but there was a balcony with a view of the Acropolis. There is a place to eat downstairs. If you walk towards the Acropolis, there is also a tourist street over there with more people and more lively. The sound insulation of the balcony windows and doors was okay. But what was unpleasant was that there were many people outside drinking, watching the game and singing that day, and they didn't leave until one o'clock in the middle of the night. I don't know if this is normal.

The room we stayed in was very large and beautiful. The staff was friendly and readily available around the clock. We stayed in a room with an acropolis view and it was nice to hang out on the balcony and look out after sunset. This hotel is very accessible to most things and the bus stop is right across the street in case you want to wander a little further. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby walking distance with late hours. There are a few major shopping streets right around the corner as well. I would definitely stay here again if traveling to Athens in the future.

Excellent value for money hotel in a fantastic location just a few minutes walk from Athens’ most visited spots. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. No tea/coffee making facilities but I don’t know if that’s normal in Athens, but there is a fridge and great air conditioning. Then roof top bar in their sister hotel Plaka is well worth a visit. Highly recommend.

The hotel may be an old hotel, but overall it is relatively clean and the service is very friendly. The room is a little bit old, but acceptable, and it is relatively large. Breakfast is simple. The inconvenient traffic around may be a pain point, you need to walk 700 meters to the subway station.

This hotel is located about 30-40 minutes from the airport. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The hotel staff are extremely kind and helpful. Nikos, the night clerk was very helpful with helping us to find food as well as options for seeing the city during our short layover.

Hotel is OK. '5 star' in the sense it has all of the amenities required by the city to make it a 5 star but this is not a 5 star in terms of service, modern facilities etc. If you are expecting a 4 star, it is good for the price paid. Pros - roof terrace, bedrooms have quality furnishings, bathroom well appointed Cons - breakfast is like feeding time at the zoo, with very little in terms of variety, fresh fruit etc. Air conditioning barely works. They say it is by design - it is actually because the air con was installed in the 80s probably and has never had the gas changed I suspect. They do not like using the outdoor seating on the roof terrace restaurant side at breakfast. No idea why. Perhaps was just the time of year I was there. 'Gym' is down the block. Literally you have to leave the hotel and walk down a road to use it. Anyway - decent value, would stay again, but you need to know what you are getting.

Minus: The toothbrush holder looked very dirty, I would probably give it a deep clean. There were some signs of mold in the shower and the toilet paper holder was loose from the wall. The rain shower head lived a life of its own, very inconsistent with how the water came out, it also took time for the water to warm up. If you care about noise, don't get a room with a street view, the windows really weren't soundproof at all. The location is a bit sketchy at night. I would also recommend the hotel to advertise to people not to waste food at the breakfast buffet because there was A LOT of it by others when we were there. This is a big thing for hotels in the north. Pros: The room looked quite newly renovated. Seems like the hotel was under renovation because when we were there it was a completely different style from the breakfast room to the room. It's probably going to be very pretty when it's finished. Plus for the minibar and kettle in the room. Plus for a separate toilet room and shower room. Great view from the balcony in the room and from the roof terrace. Great, down to earth staff. Also a very good breakfast, I have stayed in many different hotels and this is one of the best breakfasts in Europe for me.

Santorini’s Caldera Views

The caldera is stunning year-round, but late spring and early fall offer the best balance of good weather and fewer tourists. Stroll through Oia’s iconic whitewashed alleys, snap photos of the blue-domed churches, and relax in Fira’s lively town center. Take a catamaran cruise around the caldera, visit the ancient site of Akrotiri, and indulge in a cliffside dinner at a taverna with views of the fiery sunset.

Wow what an absolutely gem. Where do I start? There’s so many positive things to say I don’t know where to start. My husband booked this hotel at the last minute a couple days before departure. The hotel organised our pick up from the airport which was a stunning brand new Mercedes luxury mini bus which had enough glitz and and glam to satisfy the Kardashian’s! Once arriving at the hotel, the reception staff made us feel very welcomed with lots of information about the hotel and local area. To our surprise the hotel run a free service to and from Fira which is an added bonus as we knew we were a 30 minute walk away. Then we were taken to our room by a lovely man who carried out super heavy luggage down the steps to our room. Wow, the view was amazing. The room was spacious clean and fresh with a lovely bed bigger than two doubles pushed together. The bathroom had a rainfall shower with a handset built into an alcove which maybe tricky if your over 5’7! But don’t let that put you off, the views from every angle of the hotel more than make up for it. Breakfast was included which was simple but to a high standard nothing pre packed all fresh. The waiters were fantastic full of energy and knowledgeable. We booked our first evening meal at the hotel and the quality was amazing everything was done to a high standard. The only disappointment was we simply didn’t book longer. If your thinking of booking please do you won’t be disappointed. Thank you to all the staff that made our holiday a fantastic relaxing break 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Absolutely fabulously fantastic, the Astro Palace is one of the true hidden gems in Santorini. To see it, to stay there, and to experience it, is to believe it, as words alone cannot describe the sheer beauty of this property. We stayed from 28th July 2022 through to 5th August 2022, to be honest, we didn't want to leave!🙈 The food was wonderful, the breakfast was buffet style but there was plenty selection from cold meat to full English. The dinner was wonderful too, the Greek Caeser salad was delicious 😋😋😋 The staff are one of the best and well trained I've ever experienced in my widely travelled life. The moment you set foot into the hotel, you're welcomed with the most beautiful smiles and you're treated like royalty. I would like to give special thanks to Hope, Anna-Maria, Efi, Natalie and Ahmed (the best front desk people I have ever seen), their warm welcome, their ever smiling faces, their knowledge, their care and their humanity is beyond description. Thank you all so much for making my wife and I feel like royalty and at home, your customer care is the best I have ever experienced, and I have travelled far and wide. Thank you, Renta and staff, for a memorable stay in Santorini. I had some doubts about the suites’ location overlooking the Caldera and the climbing that might be required, but the hotel is easily accessible with lovely gentlemen who take your luggage down to your room and pick it up when you are ready to leave. The accommodations are roomy, well appointed, and have an incredible view of the sea. We had our own patio where we could eat an ample breakfast delivered every morning. On these same mornings when we were very lucky, a parade of donkeys and one mule would clop by the path near the hotel, carrying materials to nearby sites. Of course our stay in November meant that many restaurants and shops in Imeroviglia were closed, but Fira is nearby. Renta will call Nico to give you a ride into town. Both of them are so gracious and accommodating that we very much enjoyed our stay. Following Renta’s advice, we took the catamaran tour of the Caldera, a must for seeing the Caldera from the sea. The plus side of Santorini in November is a complete lack of crowds. Our weather was sunny and in the seventies every day, which may have been a Greek anomaly but perfect for us. I highly recommend the Aqua Luxury suites and staff.

Breakfast We went to the restaurant to eat, gave a menu, order form, each dish is very large, it is recommended that only one per person is enough. In particular, the hotel's bed is super soft and super comfortable! The only downside is that there is a little distance from the town of Oia, and there is no sunset at the hotel.

We stayed at the end of September as a family of 3 with a 2 year old. The hotel is pretty and a 5 minute walk to Kamari itself. There’s a chess set that kids can play with and also a kids area with swings and a slide. There’s also a ping ping table we didn’t use, but great for older kids. You collect the paddles from the pool bar. Bedroom: Recently refurbished and they’re still refurbishing rooms. AC was quite loud, and gave us a bit of a sore throat whilst there. The extract funnels into the outside area and our patio outside was concave so it heated it massively, so we didn’t really sit outside because of that. Great to dry clothes however. Rooms were basic, there’s a fridge, beds were comfy enough, good travel cot for our small person. The smell people are referring too is the water as it has a high sulphur content. It’s not the drains, this is the same on any small island. Breakfast: Very sweet staff. It’s a varied continental which is well stocked and looked after. We found something each day no problem. Help yourself to high chairs. It’s a very relaxing ambiance sat outside. Pool: Loveliest man running the pool bar, nothing was too much problem at all. We enjoyed each afternoon around the pool after exploring, and our daughters flamingo and arm bands were able to be left there so we didn’t have to lug it around each day. The food was lovely, we ate twice in the day. The hotel doesn’t serve dinner or drinks once the pool bar is closed. There is a shower room in the main hotel near the breakfast area, we only found out about this when we went to use the toilets waiting to check out. We were told we couldn’t have a late check out, but surely we could have been told about this facility. We hired a car from the airport it’s cheaper, and we didn’t enjoy the bus to Fira so decided to hire once there. The hotel is great value, with amazing people working hard each day to run it. The couple who work behind the pool bar and at breakfast were who made our holiday. They even introduced our daughter to their dog Lupin. We would visit again, thank you

They were very nice and make you feel like home all the time, always smiling :) The room was very clean and nice, they gave me a very small room because I was alone but on the reservation it was a triple room. Anyway I didnt complain, it was fine. The pool is nice, the location is in the middle of the island so far and close to everywhere. But theres a bus station a minute from the hotel and also other options to eat around, if yu dont wanna eat in the hotel. I had checkin in the morning and they offer me to leave my luggage on the hotel cause my flght was in the night and before going to airport they gave me towel and soap for a shower after all the day out. It was beyond my expectations, very happy for my stay there. I 100% recommend this place

The breakfast variety is not very much, but overall it is okay. The hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport. The hotel is in a great environment. It should be a good hotel in Fira. The room is large. The equipment is generally not equipped with a socket. The tap water is salty and has a relationship with the whole island. There are only blankets for quilts that no one likes. Overall it is recommended to stay.

April and October are perfect for visiting Delphi’s mystical ruins. Walk the Sacred Way, lined with treasures from ancient Greek city-states, and stand before the Temple of Apollo, where the oracle once delivered prophecies. The Delphi Museum houses fascinating artifacts, including the famous Charioteer statue. Don’t miss a stop in nearby Arachova, known for its cozy atmosphere and traditional dishes like hilopites.

Location, service, and food were all good, but there was an accident after falling down the stairs on the way from the restaurant to the hotel room after breakfast. The reason was that even though there were three deep stairs, they were not marked and I lost my footing. For safety, measures to prevent slipping on stairs are necessary.

The view was so good. The room was clean and I was satisfied. The bathroom and bedroom space felt a bit narrow, but the view is good and it is covered. The host's grandmother took care of me very well, helped me with difficult things, and the world was really kind. He was the most friendly owner during his three-week trip. Best! Thank you!

After a scenic journey from Olympia, we arrived in Delphi as evening fell, with our destination being V Hotel. We enjoyed a late dinner in the hotel’s dining room before taking a peaceful stroll through the quiet town. The soft lamplight and cool evening air made the walk a relaxing way to end the day. At V Hotel, we were welcomed by a warm ambiance and attentive staff. Our room, blending modern comfort with elegant design, offered a restful haven with views of the surrounding mountains. The quietude of Delphi added to the room’s charm, ensuring a deep and peaceful sleep before our exploration of Delphi the next day. The following morning, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast at the hotel, with a view of the mountains, which left us refreshed and ready to explore the archaeological wonders of Delphi. Our stay at V Hotel was the perfect prelude to our visit to Delphi’s historic sites. The hotel’s comfortable accommodations and welcoming atmosphere made it an ideal choice for our visit. We highly recommend it for anyone planning a trip to Delphi.

Fab little hotel, very quiet (maybe a little too quiet, no atmosphere at all but I didn’t mind that as I was only there a couple of days). Charming little room with balcony, very nice large bed, decent bathroom (although the floor wasn’t completely cleaned), and the breakfast was sensational! Delphi is tiny so many restaurants and cafes are nearby to relax and enjoy the view in. Just be careful on the marble stairs of the hotel as they’re slippy and I almost fell down them. Recommended!

We stayed here when on a tour of the Peloponnese. It’s location is very good close to the town and walkable to the Delphi museum and site. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite basic , the star rating and price reflects this. There is no fridge in the room or tea/ coffee making facilities. The bathroom is very small, particularly the shower which makes showering awkward especially with it having a shower curtain and not screens. It feels like the rooms could do with some refurbishment. The buffet breakfast was very good with a very good range. The view from the balcony was super.

The view of the veranda with only Corinth was awesome. The bed, bathroom and room size were all satisfactory. However, I arrived before 11 am because I was able to store my luggage 24 hours a day, but the front desk of the hotel was closed, and I was very anxious because I had to carry my suitcase in the car without leaving my luggage. The hotel door opened at 2:30 p.m., and the road down to the underground parking lot was very narrow and the slope was rushed, so I was afraid, but the parking lot itself was spacious. Welcome drink was brought to the room, apple juice. The room is not ready for water, so you have to buy it. Hotel breakfast was discounted and given 9 euros per person, but I didn't eat it. The English of the desk staff was very fast and pronunciation (Greek English pronunciation?) was difficult to understand. (Although I'm not good) When checking out, the door handle of the room was broken, so I told the desk and opened the door. The cleaning staff was friendly.

A very good hotel, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, especially Raymond, who is a driver or a porter, especially warm and busy, can't rest, drive, and take luggage. We booked 2 baht, but because the hotel was booked separately, the hotel could not give the same room. I was also very surprised. However, I was given a free upgrade to the Honeymoon Suite on the first night, which is very good! There is a Bluetooth stereo, the balcony has a jacuzzi, and it is the sea. Compared to the second one, it is not so high-end, but it will sleep for one night. The toiletries are Apitica, I brought it back, but I feel that they are not doing it in good health, so I will take it. The hotel has its own swimming pool and the breakfast buffet is very good. It can be eaten from 7 o'clock to 11 o'clock. Bring a child plus 40 Euros. The beach near the hotel is more upscale, and there are restaurants and bars. The other beach is a bit far away, but the hotel can pick you up in the free car to pick you up and see if the driver is free. The lounge chairs over there are free and there are good restaurants nearby. Finally, the traffic, of course, is not so convenient than the urban area, but the hotel is more secluded environment! The new terminal should be taken by bus or sea bus to the old pier, and then take the bus to the right hand ramp of the bus stop at the hotel entrance. This train is relatively small and must be optimistic. The hotel has a free shuttle to the city every day at 12 o'clock and 9 pm. Finally, you can make an appointment to go to the terminal and the airport shuttle bus. The car we ordered for the new terminal was 15 euros, and the price was also good, because there were too few bus shifts, and I was afraid of the boat.

We just finished a wonderful stay at Utopia, one of the numerous Myconian hotels in Mykonos. The only challenge we had the entire stay was arranging our transport from the airport. We sent an email a few days before leaving for Greece and it was not answered. However, when we called we were immediately booked a private transfer. The transfer was at the airport for us when we arrived, so no big deal at all. The Utopia is one of four Myconian hotels on Elia Beach. It's also the highest up in the hill, which ain't nobody walking up! It is seriously one of the steepest hills I've seen. Luckily, there is a shuttle to and from the beach (maybe a 3 minute drive). The shuttle is easily avaialble. When you walk out of the hotel the reception immediately asks if oyu need the shuttle to the beach and call for it if it's not already there (they just go between the beach and hotel, so are always nearby). You can also shuttle to one of the other Myconians to use the pool or go to one of the other restaurants. We didn't because we really enjoyed the ones at Utopia. Utopia is the smaller of the different Myconian hotels in the Elia Beach area. As such, the pool is smaller than the others (but plenty big enough), and there is no hot tub (the other hotels have those by the pool). Didn't matter. As normal in anywhere we looked to stay, the pools are not heated. No big deal, the water was chilly but refreshing. We came in October, staying up to a day before the hotel closed for the winter (Oct 6-10). The weather was perfect, the sun warm. Temperatures were around 77-78 during the day, a bit cooler at night. It was good beach weather. Also, no crowds at all. Service at the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was nice, buffet style, with everything from eggs to yogurt to fruit available. Lunch and dinner were also nice, a bit pricy of course since it's a 5 star hotel. There is shuttle service (they have their own big bus) to Mykonos Town. It's a set schedule, not the most convenient but it worked fine. For example, the first shuttle in the morning is at 8:45 (25 minutes to town) and the first one back after that is 2:30 pm. The next one isn't until 6:30. However, there are more in the evening hours. It totally worked out fine, we spent one evening in town and one morning/lunch. Costas is the manager and he (like all the staff) is super friendly and nice. He constantly is walking around at mealtime asking everyone if they are enjoying their stay and if their rooms are ok. He is always avaialble up front as well if you need anything. All the staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. I did notice, though, that they are always there. By that I mean morning to night, the same people. They have LONG shifts, and I understand that is common in the Greek islands, since they have a short season. I just feel bad they work from morning to night (Costas too, he's always there!) Our room was wonderful. We had a private pool and spectacular view of the sea. The room is a nice

Hotel is only 10 min walk to main area of Mykonos, so that was great, and the views were amazing out our room and from the pool. Otherwise I wasn’t super impressed. The breakfast was sp**** and nothing seemed fresh. Coffee machine was not good. The bed was very firm. There wasn’t any shampoo, conditioner or lotion in bathroom. I had packed light and not brought these things so I had to either buy or do without. We were reminded every single hour the morning of checkout about what time checkout was, we were well aware and this seemed pushy. For the price and a last minute booking, it was fine but probably would not stay there again if I had more time in advance to plan.

This was our first visit to Mykonos and we’re mostly delighted with our choice to stay at Bill and Coo Suites. The hotel design is very contemporary and no expense has been spared in the quality of design or fittings. Our suite was very spacious and quiet and had the most comfortable bed, beautiful double shower room, sea view and spacious balcony. The real standout of Bill and Coo is the superb team - all so very friendly and responsive, particularly Florian. Likewise the food at breakfast and lunch is excellent. Our one disappointment was the evening dinner service in the restaurant where the only offering was a very limited fixed tasting menu. We much prefer to have choice ideally from an a la carte menu so had to dine out each evening in order to achieve this. Unfortunately, this also comes with the extortionate cost of the hotel car service which, pro rata, is way more expensive than at comparable luxury hotels we’ve stayed at in other parts of the world. Highly recommended but for us the evening dinner option would prevent us returning.

My cousin and I stayed here for a week in September. Firstly the location was perfect. The hotel is a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport and is a 2 minute walk to the beach. The beach also has a bus stop that will take you into Mykonos town in 10 minutes until the early hours of every morning. The lobby and pool area are very cool and well maintained. The room was perfectly adequate for what we required although the bathroom was a little small and a towel rail would be useful. The best thing about the hotel by far is the staff that work there. Everybody is kind and friendly and made our stay the best it could be. Angie and Fotini on the reception were particularly great, as they were always warm and happy and we enjoyed chatting with them throughout the stay. They also went over and beyond to help us book a boat trip and nothing seemed too much to ask. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back.

We stayed in the Enjoy! Pucon for 4 nights in February of 2024. During our 4 day stay we got to sample 3 different rooms. This is because I am handicapped and the hotel did their utmost to accommodate me. My thanks to those who helped out. You have my deepest gratitude for your assistance and understanding. When we arrived check in was a nightmare. Cars everywhere outside. People in long queues to check in and no organization to any of it. We finally got to our first room 405. It has a nice view of the volcano. It had AC. A double/king bed, although a bit too soft for my tastes, and it rolled very easily across the floor. The room was an adequate size for a man with an electric scooter. The bath/shower is where the room fell short. It was not designed for tall/large people. The water pressure was great in all the rooms but the distance from the back wall to the tub edge must have been only 2 feet. Hence the shower curtain was hung directly above, and once wet, would stick to you like plastic wrap. Chile has not learned about curved shower rods yet... Day two, we got moved to a room that was not handicapped but better for me, 236. It had a proper shower (good water pressure) with zero tub so it was wide enough to bathe without being entangled. This room had a great bed, firm, and did not slide around the room. This room had a view of the hotels air conditioning, however this did not bother us. AC worked well. Day three, We hit the jackpot and got the only handicapped accessible room, 201. This room had tons of space for my scooter. It had a proper handicapped bath with a wheel in shower (good water pressure) and tons of grab rails!!! It also had a great bed, firm, and no sliding around the room. The view was of the hotel's tree, however this did not bother us. AC worked well. Some of the things that need some work to get to five star status, Handicapped ramp access. Still some ramps needed by the pool towel desk. The elevators are very small. I could only fit in one of the three elevators without taking my scooter apart to make it smaller. The resort ran out of pool towels at 4PM on Tuesday afternoon on a sunny 90+F summer day. Really? Buy more towels or a washer/dryer! Getting ice was a issue, there is no self service ice machines. The bar staff seems to only want to give out very small quantities at a time. I need ice for my medicine and I have ice in my drink all day and night. Stop being stingy with the ice!!! Breakfast was plentiful but the mostly the same each day. Housekeeping services were great. The pool was deep and refreshing when I could use it. Location is excellent. Right in the center of Pucon. Great access to shops, restaurants, etc.. I would stay here again but reserve a room earlier to make sure I get the one handicapper room.

Really enjoyed my stay here, the beds were the most comfortable I had slept in during my 4 weeks in Chile, thick duvets, massive pillows, curtain for privacy and charging plug. Food was good and location is easy to get to. The staff were great, very easy to chat to the bar and reception staff. There was a DJ one night I was there which was really fun I couldn’t help stay up when I was meant to be hiking up the volcano at 4am. They did forget to make my sandwich for the tour but other than that they were helpful. Very nice interior and plenty of different rooms/spaces to chill or socialise.

Best Time to Visit Greece for Food: 3 Must-Try Dishes

When visiting Greece, indulging in its world-famous cuisine is a must. For American travelers, here are three Greek dishes that offer an authentic and delicious experience, along with the best time of year to enjoy them.

1. Moussaka

What It Is: A rich and flavorful baked casserole made with layers of eggplant, spiced minced meat (usually lamb or beef), and a creamy béchamel sauce.
Why It’s Perfect: It’s hearty, comforting, and reminiscent of lasagna, but with a Mediterranean twist.
Best Time to Try: Autumn (September–November): Moussaka is best enjoyed in the cooler months when you can savor its warm and satisfying flavors. Plus, eggplants are in peak season during early fall, ensuring the freshest taste.

2. Grilled Octopus

What It Is: Fresh octopus, tenderized and chargrilled to perfection, drizzled with olive oil and lemon juice.
Why It’s Perfect: For seafood lovers, this dish is a delicacy—simple yet packed with smoky, tangy flavors that highlight the freshness of Greek ingredients.
Best Time to Try: Summer (June–August): Visit coastal towns and islands during summer, when the octopus is freshly caught and served at seaside tavernas. Pair it with a crisp white wine or ouzo for the ultimate experience.

3. Baklava

What It Is: A sweet dessert made of thin layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts (usually walnuts or pistachios), and honey syrup.
Why It’s Perfect: Its sticky sweetness and flaky texture make it a dessert that’s hard to resist. It’s similar to American pastries but with a distinctly Mediterranean flair.
Best Time to Try: Winter Holidays (December–January): Enjoy baklava during the festive season when it's freshly made, often alongside other traditional Greek sweets like melomakarona. The cozy holiday atmosphere enhances the experience.
