Setting and old Manor House added to a nostalgic morning Buffet Breakfast - food tables with cereals, pastries, muffins fresh and pouched fruit, Juices then cold meats cheeses and fresh tomato cucumber olives etc followed by hot buffet with different sausages, mince, bacon, mushrooms, baked beans and eggs to order (Only missed sautéed potatoes ) Bread for toast - ordinary super market cheap bread pulled a perfect breakfast to less perfect Staff: Reception staff very friendly but non of them or the group of another 3 people wore their masks or kept social distancing DINING ROOM : supervisor accommodating, helpful and really went the extra mile to ensure our requests were carried out. The waitress serving us was equally helpful and needs recommendation how she attended to Physically disabled lady without being asked PROBLEM - group of young POLO team members entered the dining room in WET SWIMMING GEAR, Disruptive behavior , did not wear masks, nor put on gloves to dish their plates, they touched food with their hand and the worst was they stormed into the small room where hot food was served, TOTAL DISREGARD OF RULE - keep social distance - and with a sudden 20 + people pushing us out the way and standing over us ....we left the room until they were done and went back for our food THE DINING ROOM SUPERVISOR DID NOTHING TO STOP THIS !!! He should have asked the Team leaders / elders to speak to them and if still not compliant apply the rule : RIGHT OF ADMISSION .... No managing of his Hotels rules

Upgraded to a Loft suite. Excellent (once the air conditioner unit was explained). Staff great. Housekeeping a bit too eager. On site restaurant Liberty's seems slow and disorganized, even for South Africa and especially for a Hilton's. Free shuttle to V&A Waterfront every two hours. Walking distance to the Old Biscuit Mill (a Saturday morning must-do). Regular and reliable taxi service around Cape Town at reasonable rates, for drop off and pickup. Airport shuttle. Neighborhood was very safe Don't pre-book tours before you get here; Yasir and his team will take good care of you.

Lovely stay at Newlands Peak Aparthotel. Quiet and clean location. The apartment itself is very modern and has everything you need. Everything looked brand new! Having travelled extensively and stayed in numerous hotels worldwide, I can confidently state that my recent experience was the worst ever. Despite seeing several negative reviews about their service, I thought they were just occasional lapses. However, I soon discovered that the hotel had a persistent service problem. I had a problem with my reservation and spent two days trying to resolve it, but no one cared. To make matters worse, I was charged ten times the amount I had originally paid for the same room (i.e., $300 instead of $30) without any reasonable explanation. When I questioned this, the staff merely shrugged it off, citing fluctuating prices as the reason. The lady in charge of reservations was extremely rude and disrespectful throughout the ordeal. In addition to the issues with my reservation and the exorbitant charges, the air conditioner was not working properly and made a lot of noise. Furthermore, the fridge in my room made a huge noise, which disturbed my sleep at 2 am (I recorded a video as proof). Moreover, the noise levels in the dormitory were unacceptable all the night! making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. In short, I urge anyone considering staying at this hotel to think twice and look for other options.

Very nice modern and luxurious decor, proactive and welcoming staff. Rooms are quite cosy, would recommended for couples or solo/business travellers. The bar and restaurant services delicious and decadent food. Location is very central and close to everything, but would receive recommend vehicle access, as there are not many things in walkable distance. Has a great night life scene, is popular amongst very hip club hoppers and social scene.
