Located in convenient spot and walkable to IFS. On the way there are many souvenir shop and not necessary to go to kuanzhai alley to get them as the price is the same. Please remember to ask the staff for welcome gift (panda plush) as they only give you when you ask them.

I absolutely enjoyed the stay here. Bed was so comfortable, not too soft nor hard, and blanket was so warm that felt more like a hug. I slept so good and felt refreshed even though I had to sleep only 4 hours that night due to packed schedule.
Receptionists are very professional and responsive. They have provided me with all help I needed, and even more: foreigners without phone number don’t have access to China on demand services but they helped me to contact several places and book appointments. Absolutely loved it!!!

The hotel lobby is very luxurious. As soon as you enter, there is free tea and warm mineral water, giving a very friendly feeling. The hotel front desk checks is quickly and professional. The bedding is very soft and clean. The check-in experience is very good. There is also a smart toilet in the room. The downstairs or robot food delivery is very high-end. The hotel location is very good. You can walk to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li. I will stay again next time!

1. Stayed on the 9th floor of the hotel. The room was quiet there was no window in the room.
2. The room was spacious. The bed was king size and comfortable.
3. The aircon was strong and effective.
4. The attached toilet and bathroom are separated but towels can't be hung inside the bathroom. The water pressure was strong and drainage was good.
5. The hotel provided face and bath towels.
6. The wifi was ok if using Baidu. But the mobile phone signal was extremely weak.
7. Service staff at the reception was friendly. The room was cleaned up and the towels were changed every day. Bottled water was free to pick up at the lift lobby.
8. Many restaurants, the Metro station and Chunxi walking street are within walking distance.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made us feel welcome right away.
Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. It was a nice touch to find a plate of fruit waiting for us when we arrived, and the daily replacement of water bottles was much appreciated.
The location was convenient, with a few restaurants nearby and a metro station close by. We didn’t use the metro since we mostly got around using Didi, but it’s nice to have that option available.
The only issue we had was with the toilet, which didn’t flush properly, but it wasn’t a big deal overall.
We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Stayed for 4 nights. Hazens Hotel is very conveniently located directly opposite big Tianfu square with metro station underground. It is very clean and new. The reception staff 小李was very pleasant and helpful, always serving with a sweet smile. They served free afternoon tea and dessert soups for supper but alas, we never get to try it as we always reach hotel after 10pm. The housekeepers have done a good job too keeping our rooms clean and neat. Breakfast was decent. As it is centrally located, during peak hours, metro is the way to go to prevent from getting caught in a traffic jam. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Hazens hotel!

GGuest User”Create the wilderness in the south, stay humble and return to the countryside”, the name is full of poetry and picturesqueness, but I went there because of the zero negative reviews. I thought what kind of B&B makes everyone like it so much that I can't bear to leave negative reviews. Stayed for one night and it was a really different experience. Simple, ancient style, ancient charm and a bit of Zen. If you wander around the courtyard for nothing, you will find a lot of ingenuity, such as throwing pots, shooting arrows, teasing the parrot that can only bark but cannot speak, and writing calligraphy; you can also watch Meditate, meditate, relax, and forget the troubles of the world with eyes full of green. In front of the hall, there is a cactus owned by Mr. Gu, who is over 80 years old, and it makes me deeply moved. I ate breakfast while smelling the fragrance of books. It was a really different feeling. The breakfast and dinner were exquisite and rich, and many arrangements surprised you. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home, all in all a pleasant trip.

CChrissy_HankMy boyfriend and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Chengdu Panda Garden during our visit to Chengdu. We were really impressed with how beautiful the hotel was and how friendly the staff was. Upon check-in, they upgraded our room to a very spacious panda room, and I must say, the view from our bedroom window was immaculate. The hotel provided a shuttle to go to the Panda breeding park. My only disappointment was I didn’t stay long, as our visit to Chengdu was short. Despite the hotel's location, I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chengdu. I really love my stay, and I will definitely be staying back here when I revisit Chengdu.

JJaneyyy89This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms.
Some noteworthy details:
- Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort.
- The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include:
(a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now!
(b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room
(c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C.
(d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold.
- Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them.
- We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away.
- We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2.
- Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too.
- We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests.
Areas of improvement:
- Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake.
- The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper.
- Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor).

GGuest User1) Subway station is 30 seconds right across the road.
2) Location is good because it is enveloped by a few famous narrow alleys selling handicraft, snacks, desserts, souvenirs, Chinese artwork etc, and have endless food stalls, coffee shops that surround the hotel, buzzing with activities all day till at least 11pm.
3) Hotel staff speak minimal English but they do understand it albeit not able to converse freely. Naturally using PTH is best.
4) Staff in the entire hotel are very friendly, courteous, pleasant and accommodating, trying to help in any way possible.
5) Bespectacled night manageress in a black suit was very welcoming and sweet. She offered to upgrade us when the room originally assigned for us was not as quiet as we had requested when we booked it. She led us to see the original one ( 2/F )and the other one ( the quieter one on 3/F ) and let us choose.
6) The upgraded room ( 3/F ) was a suite and it was really nice --- very quiet with courtyard view and tasteful lay out.
7) Cannot praise enough for the delightful suite -- spacious and elegant ; super clean ; smells nice , refreshing and just right not overwhelming ; white crispy bed linen ; daily turn down service; endless supply of fresh bottled water on daily basis ; spotless tumbler and fresh bottle of water by the bedside table every evening; everything you touch is spotless ; wooden flooring matching Chinese wooden furniture in simple design giving out this classy Chinese feel ; free to consume anything for the 1st time in the mini bar ; tea & coffee replenished daily ; kettle and coffee machine; free stationery like scissors, stapler, clips, pencil and pens etc; toiletries like vanity set, combs, toothbrush etc replenished daily ; spacious bathroom with double wash basins and clean white towels ; wash basins in rose gold but not tacky; shower drainage not smooth on 1st night but they fixed it and no prob thereafter ; water pressure from shower was good and plenty of marble top inside shower room for your own toiletries ; bathtub with fresh rose petals on 1st night and various types of bath salt ; big screen to watch telly while in tub ; separate toilet near living room; ample wardrobe space and power operated blinds and black out blinds. They provide steam iron on request but it would be better to have a proper flat iron if you want to press pants and other thicker harder material. Steam iron is only good for silk or plain cotton. Even linen is better with a flat iron.
8) This is a 100% Chinese ambience hotel from lobby to our suite but nothing is gaudy or ostentatious because everything is simple, no fuss, low-key, very clean, good architecture, functional and all colour combo is soothing to the eyes.
9) We ate at their restaurant the 1st night and food was ok -- dan dan noodles slightly overcooked so it was a bit mushy. Fried rice was a huge serving with fresh shrimps and nicely cooked. Tea could be hotter. Service was attentive, efficient and proper.

GGuest UserWe had a great time in Chengdu and our stay at minyoun hotel helped make all the difference. It is quite a luxurious hotel with the reception on the 33rd floor and rooms even higher up meaning that all rooms came with an unobstructed view of the city skyline.
Location was also great being within walking distance ~7-10mins to taikooli (shopping area) and lankwaifong (bar/club area). It was also only 100/200meters away from a metro station which we honestly didn’t use, as taxis were all only 10-20rmb (~€2)
Finally the staff were excellent and particularly helpful at every request. Special shoutout to the 2 girls (apologies if we have the names wrong but Chris and Joy?), and Stefan Hu who took the time to suggest all the best places to visit around Chengdu - helping us add the locations to our maps and gifting us a tourist information notebook and panda!
We really enjoyed our stay at minyoun hotel and would highly recommend staying here. The staff brought our stay to another level, thank you ⭐️

YYenThe building just about 200m from People's Park Metro station and opposite the road of KuanZhai Alley. Plenty of eateries nearby. Reception is at 26 level. Check in very convenient & the room is keyless security. The unit has 2 rooms, 1 washroom and kitchen. Bed is comfortable, both king size. Both bed rooms have projector, but only can watch old movies for free. Moderate size of fridge can store drinks and food. Kitchen cannot cook, no utensils. Toilet & bathroom kinda limited space to move about, movement have to quite polite. Hahahaas. Corridor a bit dark, the light sensor not too sensitive. Recommended to stay here again. Thanks for accepting international tourists.

The hosts of the FlipFlop Hostel do a fantastic job of bringing together travellers on their journey through Chengdu. Whether that be making dumplings together, seeing the great Pandas, or excursions into the city to enjoy the local cuisine, the staff here are extremely friendly and welcoming, making my trip to Chengdu one to remember.
The Room:
I had a private room with a window facing the interior stairs. It was cleaned daily and the bed was comfortable, though a little old. The bathroom was also in a good condition for a hostel stay—I’ve added pictures for others convenience.
Conclusion:
Overall, I am happy with the room quality. And the location is excellent too: easily accessible from the metro and right in the thick-of-it by Chunxi Road. But it is the staff magic that made my stay really enjoyable.
I would recommend this to others coming to the city of Pandas 🐼

The biggest asset of the hotel is the English speaking staff, who is incredibly helpful, creates a warm and friendly atmosphere. Biggest shout out to Loura, who with her friendliness and smile made our stay there great!

LLili-30Honestly, I loved the stay here. The elevators can be a little tight if you do have large luggage but that wasn’t really an issue for us. It was convenient to get around and room was very clean! Hotel kept our luggage for us until midnight since we had a late flight.

HHana moriThe hotel name is rather deceiving. When I booked, I thought it was IHG's Holiday Inn, but it's actually not. The location is somewhere in the middle of a village near the airport, but luckily they provided free airport pick up service (For international tourists, it's best to get a local number to call the hotel). Due to construction works nearby, the distance to the airport took longer than expected. But, overall the stay is okay as the room is nice and comfy.
