I've been a Gold Elite member of Marriot for a long time, and I've never stayed at a Marriot hotel more ratted out than this one. I've had to stay at a Motel 6 and a Super 8 in the past, and this is even below those hotels. We have a pet, but this pet room should not smell like cat. It should have been cleaned before we got here, and an ozone machine should have been used. We left the bathroom exhaust fan on to help with the smell. The kitchen cabinets are worn and old, and the rest of the interior of the building is pretty ratted out as well. I'd expect that this building will either be renovated or torn down soon. The walls are thin. Ceiling tiles are missing in the hallway. The hotel is right on I-70 West, so if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room far away from the highway. To add to the disappointment, I reserved a room with a King size bed, and though the room is listed as a King, it's a Queen in a handicap/assessible room. The clerk at the front was very nice, and said that due to the need to fit a wheelchair, they had to put a Queen sized bed instead. He said that the web site should not list it as a King. I've attached a few photos of the hotel. I could have taken several more, but you'll get the idea.
