Luxuy Plus! Liked · OMG! I'd have to write a novel on Helen's Luxury Hut!! Well organised, welcoming letter, and folder explaining all with key ready for me. Leon came along and welcomed me and opened the front door and show me to my retreat! King size bed with a mountain of pillows and cushions. Generous wardrobes, well appoined bathroom and toilet (ensuite). Carpet so soft and luxurious in bedroom. a couple of antique chairs to sit in. Common kitchen and lounge - fridge open to all, help yourself to coffee, tea, fruit, biscuits. Welcome to use kitchen facilities during stay. Lounge had large comfy settees and chairs to watch TV with other guests. Breakfast!!!! Wow - what a selection - all laid out on the bench inthe kitchen, choose from real coffee, yoghurt, fruit jellies, so many different cereals, apple and orange juice plus toast. delicious. I would have loved to have time to explore the property - 16 km from Ballart, but an easy drive. The house has 2 other rooms for guests, with a shared bathroom. BBQ on back patio for use too!

On the main road into the city from Geelong, 2 min walk to Coles and about 5 min drive into the city. Room was clean and good size with comfy chairs and small table for dining or work. Had Austar which was nice but really hard to figure out due to 3 different remotes, the main remote being in Chinese so that kinda made simply watching free to air a real drama.

It's two or three kilometers away from the city center. It's like a resort. There is a reception at the entrance. It takes three to five minutes to walk in. The cottage, the first-floor bungalows in the townhouse, and free parking next to it. It was enough for three people. It was not so crowded. The door was open outdoors. It was not the same as staying in a hotel. It was good. You could sit at the door and watch the stars. It felt quieter than the hotel and no neighbors disturbed. Close to Shufenshan Gold Mine Town. If you want to go out for dinner, you have to go outside the yard to find it. On the walk, you do n’t have to go out.

Quite nice hotel, clean and tidy. The booked room contains breakfast and is quite rich. Easy parking. The hotel is just around the Sovereign Hill and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Visitor Service Center.

Recently visited Newington apartments and was greeted with lovely decorations and furniture upon arrival. It was a comfortable and spacious apartment that provided great amenities. It's close proximity to the city centre ensured we were very able to explore the area during our short stay. However, issues arose as our apartment was meant to include 2 sofas but were instead provided with 1. The staff's response was to ”ensure we thoroughly check photos of the apartment before booking”. This shouldn't be the case when the description included ” two sofas”. Following on the poorly constructed bathroom meant loose handles and screeching showers when the water was turned on. In the midst of a pandemic there is no mention of any additional sanitary measures the management have taken to deal with COVID-19.

The Holiday Park Hotel in the Big 4 Balarit gold mining area is located near the gold mining town tour area. The hotel garden is large and the facilities are relatively complete. The room was quite new and the bed was big and comfortable. It felt cold at night and the air conditioner was turned on.

Cute little room with modern bathroom. Did exactly what we needed it for. A little noisy at night from traffic and people noise, but it was fine. You could also hear the other rooms plumbing turning off and on but that's pretty standard in a motel. Pool and spa were nice.

So many positive things to say about Sovereign Park but the 2 memorable standouts which will have us returning would have to be, the SERVICE and INDOOR HEATED POOL & SPA! The booking & check-in process were both so easy. Jen served us throughout our stay, she was immediately warm and welcoming. After checking out and having mentioned we were going to explore the Wildlife Park nearby, we had a call from Jen about some precious plush toys our daughter had left behind. She knew how important it was to get it back to us so she wasted no time in contacting us before we made our way back home. The family room was comfy & cosy, clean and included all the amenities needed. The kids had the best time in the pool, spa & sauna. Mummy even got some time to spend in the gym, nothing flashy but complete & practical. Thanks so much & keep up the great service.
