We stayed here for two nights. It's a pretty 1901 Victorian house located in a nice area of historic homes just a 5 minute drive from Frederick's vibrant downtown. There are four guest rooms, all on the second floor. We got off to a bad start here in that we were by mistake initially put in a room which was not the one we had reserved, and not as nice. But the error was caught quickly, and we moved to the spacious Queen Anne room we had reserved---and everything was just fine after that. As long-term B & B veterans, we feel that the experience is always better when the innkeepers are engaging (live on site, are with you at breakfast, etc.). And Betty and Phil didn't disappoint here. We appreciated getting to know them, and had lively conversations. The breakfasts included creative casseroles, fruit, etc., and were very good. Our room had a king bed, nice period furniture (two wing chairs), and a small flat screen TV. The bathroom was tiny, as the sink is actually in the bedroom. But the bathroom had a good walk-in shower, and we prefer this type of shower. Be aware that some rooms have a claw foot tub, which some people (including us) don't like. Unlike many of the B & B's we've stayed in, this room had good lighting. No issues at all with the room. Parking is in a dedicated spot in back of the house, and you can also park on the street in front of the house---no problem. We had a nice stay at this traditional B & B---everything you hope to have in a B & B experience.

Lovely stay at Hollerstown Hill B&B. The house is beautiful and full of Betty's collectibles. (if you don't like dolls, this is not the place for you!) Rooms are pretty, comfortable and clean, well appointed. Betty and Phil are wonderful and happy to recommend activities!. Breakfast was very good both days- beautiful fruit salad and hot breakfast casseroles were delicious. And cookies in the evening! Would definitely recommend for 2-3 nights if you are visiting Frederick- and there is a lot more to do in Frederick than we realized!.

A grand old Victorian style house with chocolates in the foyer! A billiard room and a fridge for guests to use. A swing on the fern-shaded porch. Lovely hot breakfasts cooked by Phil. Within walking distance to the heart of the historic area and many restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing time at Hollerstown Hill B&B! The room was perfect and the house was beautiful. The owner was incredibly nice and accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for a better location either. We enjoyed walking right down Market Street and exploring downtown Frederick.

Lovely Victorian home with all the comforts of a modern stay. Easy tree-lined walk to restaurants, shops and the Weinberg Center. Friendly hosts who have thought of everything to make the stay welcoming but private including large en suite bathroom, and easy access to stocked refridge and coffee/tea. Breakfast was a yogurt, cream and fruit parfait with chocolate/pecan waffles! Delightful folk, delightful stay in historic Frederick.

Staying at Hollerstown Hill is like getting away to a good friend's home. While the hosts really enjoy getting to know and chatting with their guests, if solitude is your preference, you're in the right place for that as well. The hosts are warm and welcoming, breakfast is delicious (allergen-free options!), and the rooms are replete with all the comforts of home - super comfortable beds, toiletries, books, guides to the city, cable TV, and WiFi extenders. I always book a room with a soaking tub for the best night's sleep. The billiard table, wraparound porch, backyard gathering spaces, and EV charging station are unexpected extras that reflect the LeBlancs' commitment to guest enjoyment. Walking distance (5 blocks) to the "Square Corner" (the intersection of Market & Patrick Streets), you can be in the heart of Frederick's bustling downtown - restaurants, shops, performing arts spaces, and seasonal street festivals - in no time.
