It's the most cost-effective hotel I've ever stayed in. We came to watch a concert. We were still on the train when we got a call from the hotel asking if we had a baby with us and if we needed extra toiletries? Do you need free extra bed service depending on how old your child is? As soon as we arrived in Fuzhou at around 12 o'clock, we were notified that the room was cleaned and the extra bed was ready for check-in at any time! The little guy in the lobby helped us carry our luggage, he was very enthusiastic! We were given breakfast for free, and it was amazing! We didn't go down until nearly ten o'clock, but the variety was still very rich. The rice noodles and noodles tasted better than the laohua we ate on the street! First off, I almost changed hotels and lost the booking because the name inside the hotel and the front are completely different! There is no mention of a name change anywhere. I had just gone in to ask directions to the hotel and it was the right spot. It's called the Lucerne or something like that. It's the only hotel I have ever seen with a ”fake window” so that was different. It was good otherwise, there was a little tea set in the room and I got a good night's sleep. The breakfast was nice and plentiful with continental and Chinese offerings, plus juice and coffee. I would stay again, but please update the name so other travelers do not get confused. Also, I speak English, so they communicated with me on Google translate, it worked well.

Overall, it was a great experience! It’s in a lively area with shops and safe to walk even after sunset (but still at a reasonably hour). There’s a supermarket about 5 min walk and a seven-11 right next to the hotel entrance. They upgraded us because when we checked in they did not have our room ready yet. The room was spacious and had two chairs and a table as a seating area right next to the window! The bed was comfortable and everything seemed clean. They even helped us set up our wifi because we couldn’t get it to work. Our favorite place is the little bakery place outside the hotel on the corner. They have the BEST cream puffs! We got it every night. They are dense but so delicious!! Another amazing thing is that the airport shuttle is RIGHT across the street. Our flight was at 9am and the local bus doesn’t run until 6:30 and it takes an hour so it wouldve been really difficult/ expensive to get there otherwise that early. Luckily, the airport shuttle service starts at 5am! It was 31RMB per person.
